Nivel de conocimiento y su relación con la practica sobre lactancia materna en madres puérperas en un hospital del MINSA, Nuevo Chimbote, Santa, Ancash 2024

Abstract

Objetivo: Analizar la relación del nivel de conocimiento con la práctica sobre lactancia materna en madres puérperas en un hospital del MINSA, Nuevo Chimbote, Santa, Ancash 2024. Diseño metodológico: El método será hipotético-deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental transversal y de alcance correlacional. Población: La muestra estará conformada por 71 puérperas hospitalizadas en las salas de puerperio de un Hospital del Ministerio de Salud; será por muestreo probabilístico, aplicando criterio de inclusión y exclusión. Técnica: se empleará la encuesta en su modalidad de cuestionario y una ficha de observación. Instrumentos: Se usará la encuesta y observación. El cuestionario y la Ficha de observación servirán como herramientas. El cuestionario para determinar el nivel de conocimiento sobre lactancia materna consta de 23 preguntas agrupadas en cinco dimensiones: Definición, mecanismo de producción de leche materna, constitución de la leche, beneficios o ventajas y técnicas de amamantamiento, los ítems se medirán mediante dos niveles: la respuesta correcta tendrá el valor de 1 y la respuesta incorrecta 0. Para determinar la práctica en madres puérperas se utilizará la ficha de observación que consta de seis dimensiones y 25 ítems, determinando la práctica como adecuada asignándole 1 punto, si es practica inadecuada será 0 punto. Procesamiento estadístico y análisis de datos: Se aplicará técnicas descriptivas para evaluar la distribución de frecuencias de las variables y dimensiones; y se realizará un análisis inferencial para probar la hipótesis empleando la prueba de Chi cuadrado.

Methodological design: The method will be hypothetical-deductive, quantitative approach, non-experimental cross-sectional design and correlational scope. Population: The sample will be made up of 71 postpartum women hospitalized in the postpartum wards of a Ministry of Health Hospital; It will be by probabilistic sampling, applying inclusion and exclusion criteria. Technique: The survey will be used in its questionnaire mode and an observation sheet. Instruments. Survey and observation will be used. The questionnaire and the observation sheet will serve as tools. The questionnaire to determine the level of knowledge about breastfeeding consists of 23 questions grouped into five dimensions: Definition, mechanism of breast milk production, milk constitution, benefits or advantages and breastfeeding techniques, the items will be measured through two levels: The correct answer will have the value of 1 and the incorrect answer 0. To determine the practice in postpartum mothers, the observation sheet will be used, which consists of six dimensions and 25 items, determining the practice as appropriate by assigning it 1 point, if it is an inappropriate practice it will be 0 point. Statistical processing and data analysis: Descriptive techniques will be applied to evaluate the frequency distribution of the variables and dimensions; and an inferential analysis will be carried out to test the hypothesis using the Chi-square test.
