Motivación académica y aprendizaje en matemática básica en cadetes de la escuela de oficiales de la Fuerza Aérea del Perú, Lima, 2022

Abstract

El objetivo general de la presente investigación fue determinar la relación entre motivación académica y aprendizaje en Matemática Básica en cadetes de la Escuela de Oficiales de la Fuerza Aérea del Perú de Lima en el 2022. El enfoque de la investigación es cuantitativo de tipo aplicada, correlacional de corte transversal y se usó el método hipotético deductivo. Se elaboraron cuestionarios para los cadetes, instrumentos sobre la motivación académica y el aprendizaje en ambas variables medidas con escala ordinal. La población fueron cadetes de la citada Escuela de Oficiales. Los instrumentos se validaron por juicio de expertos y la confiabilidad con el alfa de Cronbach, cuyos valores superaron el 0.80 mostrando un grado de confiabilidad buena o excelente. Se envió el cuestionario por un formulario Google. Las pruebas de hipótesis se realizaron con el coeficiente de Spearman, confirmándose que existe relación directa y significativa entre las variables, así como entre las dimensiones de la motivación y el aprendizaje en Matemática Básica en cadetes de la muestra. En conclusión, se logró que existe una relación positiva moderada y significativa entre motivación y aprendizaje en Matemática Básica en cadetes, considerando que el valor del coeficiente de correlación fue igual a 0,554 y el valor de la significancia p fue menor que el alfa igual a 0,05.

The general objective of this research was to determine the relationship between academic motivation and learning in Basic Mathematics in cadets of the Peruvian Air Force Officers School in Lima in 2022. The research approach is quantitative, applied, correlational crosssectional and the hypothetical-deductive method was used. Questionnaires were developed for the cadets, instruments on academic motivation and learning in both variables measured with an ordinal scale. The population were cadets from the aforementioned School of Officers. The instruments were validated by expert judgment and reliability with Cronbach's alpha, whose values exceeded 0.80, showing a good or excellent degree of reliability. The questionnaire was sent through a Google form. The hypothesis tests were carried out with the Spearman coefficient, confirming that there is a direct and significant relationship between the variables, as well as between the dimensions of motivation and learning in Basic Mathematics in cadets of the sample. In conclusion, it was found that there is a moderate and significant positive relationship between motivation and learning in Basic Mathematics in cadets, considering that the value of the correlation coefficient was equal to 0.554 and the value of significance p was less than the alpha equal to 0.05.
