Motivación y su relación con el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de posgrado de una Universidad Privada de Lima, 2021

Abstract

El trabajo de investigación “Motivación y su relación con el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de posgrado de una Universidad Privada de Lima, 2021” tuvo por objetivo, determinar la relación de la motivación y el rendimiento académico en los estudiantes de posgrado de una Universidad Privada de Lima, en el año 2021. La xii Metodología de la investigación fue de enfoque cuantitativo, el método utilizado fue hipotético-deductivo, el tipo de investigación fue aplicada, el diseño metodológico fue no experimental de nivel descriptivo correlacional con corte transversal. La Población fue de 199 estudiantes, la muestra fue de 139 estudiantes de maestría en docencia Universitaria, matriculados en el periodo 2021-II posgrado. Para el levantamiento de información se aplicó la técnica encuesta, un cuestionario en formato estructurado. Para el procesamiento y análisis de los datos se utilizó el programa estadístico IBM SPSS Statistics versión 25. El resultado general fue, existe relación significativa entre la motivación y el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de posgrado de una Universidad Privada de Lima, en el año 2021 y esta relación fue positiva alta con Rho de Spearman = 0,855 y p=0,000. Finalmente, se estableció las conclusiones y recomendaciones.

The research work "Motivation and its relationship with the academic performance of graduate students of a Private University of Lima, 2021" aimed to determine the relationship of motivation and academic performance in graduate students of a Private University from Lima, in the year 2021. The research methodology was of a quantitative xiii approach, the method used was hypothetical-deductive, the type of research was applied, the methodological design was non-experimental with a descriptive correlational level with a cross-sectional section. The Population was 199 students, the sample was 139 Master's degree students in University teaching, enrolled in the 2021-II postgraduate period. For the information gathering, the survey technique was applied, a questionnaire in structured format. For the processing and analysis of the data, the statistical program IBM SPSS Statistics version 25 was used. The general result was, there is a significant relationship between motivation and academic performance of graduate students of a Private University of Lima, in the year 2021 and this relationship was high positive with Spearman's Rho = 0.855 and p = 0.000. Finally, the conclusions and recommendations were established.
