Nivel de conocimiento y actitud frente a la vacuna contra la COVID-19 en pobladores del distrito de Ate. Lima 2022

Abstract

The objective of this research was to evaluate the relationship between the level of knowledge and attitude toward the COVID-19 vaccine among residents of the Ate district. Methodology: The study employed the hypothetical-deductive method, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional design and a quantitative approach. The population consisted of residents of the Ate district, and the sample included 385 individuals from the same area. Results: It was found that the level of knowledge about the COVID-19 vaccine was high (89.4%), yet the population showed a rejection attitude (56.1%) toward the vaccine. Spearman's correlation test yielded a significance value of Sig.=0.196, indicating no significant relationship between the variables. Conclusion: There is no relationship between the level of knowledge and attitude toward the COVID-19 vaccine among residents of the Ate district in 2022.

La presente de investigación tuvo como objetivo evaluar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y la actitud frente a la vacuna contra la COVID-19 en pobladores del distrito de Ate. En relación con la metodología fue el método hipotético-deductivo, con diseño no experimenta y corte transversal y enfoque cuantitativo. La población estuvo conformada por los pobladores del distrito de Ate y la muestra estuvo conformada por 385 personas del mismo distrito. Como principales resultados se halló que el nivel de conocimiento respecto a la vacuna contra la COVID-19 es alto con un 89,4% y que la población muestra una actitud de rechazo (56,1%) hacia la vacuna. La prueba de correlación de Spearman de valor Sig.=0,196 determinando que no hay relación significativa entre las variables. Concluyendo que no existe relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y la actitud frente a la vacuna contra la COVID-19 en pobladores del distrito de Ate en el año 2022.
