Conocimiento y práctica sobre prevención de los riesgos biológicos del profesional en enfermería del centro quirúrgico de un hospital MINSA, Lima, 2024

Abstract

La investigación tiene como propósito estudiar el conocimiento que los profesionales de enfermería tienen sobre las medidas para prevenir el riesgo biológico y cómo aplican estas prácticas en la sala de operaciones. La correcta implementación de estas medidas no solo garantiza la seguridad del equipo de salud y del paciente, sino que también contribuye a la prevención de infecciones en el entorno quirúrgico. El estudio se fundamenta en las teorías de Dorotea Orem y Florence Nightingale, quienes, a través de sus valores, han dado forma a una práctica de enfermería de alta calidad. El objetivo principal es “Determinar la relación entre conocimiento sobre prevención de los riesgos biológicos y práctica del profesional de enfermería del centro quirúrgico en un Hospital MINSA, Lima- 2024”.La metodología empleada se basa en el método hipotético deductivo, con un enfoque cuantitativo y de tipo descriptivo. Se utilizará el diseño no experimental de alcance correlacional y corte transversal. La muestra seleccionada consistirá en 80 profesionales de enfermería instrumental. Para la recolección de datos, se utilizará un cuestionario y una guía de observación. El análisis de los datos se llevará a cabo con el software SPSS 25.0, y la prueba de hipótesis para evaluar la correlación entre las variables se realizará mediante el coeficiente de Spearman.

The purpose of this research is to study the knowledge that nursing professionals have about measures to prevent biological risk and how they apply these practices in the operating room. The correct implementation of these measures not only guarantees the safety of the health team and the patient, but also contributes to the prevention of infections in the surgical environment. The study is based on the theories of Dorotea Orem and Florence Nightingale, who, through their values, have shaped a high-quality nursing practice. The main objective is "To determine the relationship between knowledge about prevention of biological risks and practice of the nursing professional in the surgical center at a MINSA Hospital, Lima - 2024". The methodology used is based on the hypothetical-deductive method, with a quantitative and descriptive approach. The non-experimental design of correlational scope and cross-section will be used. The selected sample will consist of 80 instrumental nursing professionals. For data collection, a questionnaire and an observation guide will be used. Data analysis will be carried out using SPSS 25.0 software, and the hypothesis test to evaluate the correlation between variables will be performed using the Spearman coefficient.
