Sobrecarga y calidad de vida de los cuidadores de pacientes con esquizofrenia del Centro de Salud Mental Comunitario Illary, Huacho, 2025

Abstract

Introducción: La esquizofrenia es un trastorno crónico que genera alto nivel de dependencia, convirtiendo al cuidador principal en un pilar fundamental para el bienestar del paciente. Diversas investigaciones en el país evidencian que las sobrecargas de cuidados se relacionan negativamente con su calidades de vida. Estos antecedentes demuestran la importancia de analizar la condición del cuidador para orientar intervenciones que favorezcan su salud integral. El objetivo del estudio es establecer la correlación entre la sobrecarga de cuidados y la calidad de vida del cuidador principal de pacientes con esquizofrenia en el Centro de Salud Mental Comunitario Illary, Huacho 2025. Metodología: El estudio tienen enfoques cuantitativos de tipos aplicativos con diseños no experimentales, transversal y descriptivo – correlacionales. Se emplearon métodos deductivos e inductivos para la formulación y comprobación de hipótesis a partir de la informacion recopilada. La población estuvo constituida por 28 cuidadores de paciente con diagnósticos de esquizofrenias atendidos en el Centro de Salud Mental Comunitario Illary, Huacho 2025, no se realizó muestreo, ya que se trabajo con la totalidad de la población. Los datos se recolectaron mediante encuentras estructuradas permitiendo medir y analizar estadísticamente las variables de sobrecargas y calidades de vida.

Introduction: Schizophrenia is a chronic disorder that generates a high level of dependence, making the primary caregiver a fundamental pillar for the patient’s well being. Various studies in the country show that caregiver burden is negatively related to their qualitys of lifes. These findings highlight the importances of analyzing the caregivers condition to guide interventions that promote their overall health. The aims of this studys is to determine burdens and the qualitys of lifes of the primary caregiver of patients with schizophrenias at the Illary Communitys Mentals Healths Centers, Huacho, 2025.Methodology: The studys has a quantitatives, applied approachs, withs a nons experimentals, cross-sectional, and descriptive-correlational designs. Deductive and inductive methods were used for the formulation and testing of hypotheses bases on the information collected. The population consisted of 28 primarys caregivers of patients diagnosed withs schizophrenias attended at the Illary Communitys Mentals Healths Centers, Huacho 2025. No sampling was conducted, as the study worked with the entire population. Date were collected through structured surveys, allowing the statistical measurement and analysis of the variables of burden and quality of life.
