Factores que afectan a la adherencia terapéutica en pacientes geriátricos con enfermedades crónicas del Centro Canevaro-Rímac. Lima. 2024

Abstract

El objetivo fue determinar los factores conductuales asociados a la adherencia terapéutica en pacientes geriátricos con enfermedades crónicas del Centro Canevaro – Rímac. Lima. 2024. Metodología: Estudio no experimental, cuantitativo, hipotético deductivo, transversal y correlacional. La población fue 169 adultos mayores a quienes se les solicito participar con una encuesta asistida cumpliendo los criterios éticos y de selección. Resultados: Se observó que el género masculino representó el 65,1% del total, la edad más frecuente de los pacientes encuestados fue de 62,1% de 70 a 80 años y cuyo nivel de educación con mayor porcentaje fue de 40,2% de nivel primaria. Además, se observó que a una baja presencia de factores conductuales existe una baja presencia de adherencia terapéutica con un 14,2%, mientras a una alta frecuencia de factores conductuales existe una adherencia terapéutica media de un 16% en pacientes geriátricos con enfermedades crónicas del Centro Canevaro. Conclusión: Se comprobó que existe relación débil entre los factores conductuales y la adherencia terapéutica.

The objective was to determine the behavioral factors associated with therapeutic adherence in geriatric patients with chronic diseases at the Canevaro Center -Rímac Lima 2024. Methodology: Non-experimental, quantitative, hypothetical deductive, cross sectional and correlational study. The population was 169 older adults who were asked to participate with an assisted survey meeting the ethical and selection criteria. Results: It was observed that the male gender represented 65.1% of the total, the most frequent age of the patients surveyed was 62.1% from 70 to 80 years and whose level of education with the highest percentage was 40.2% primary level. In addition, it was observed that with a low presence of behavioral factors there is a low presence of therapeutic adherence with 14.2%, while with a high frequency of behavioral factors there is an average therapeutic adherence of 16% in geriatric patients with chronic diseases at the Canevaro Center. Conclusion: It was proven that there is a weak relationship between behavioral factors and therapeutic adherence.
