Efecto de la terapia manual en la funcionabilidad de pacientes post operados de ligamento cruzado anterior del Hospital Naval 2025

Abstract

Las lesiones de rodilla, especialmente en el ámbito deportivo, constituyen un problema de salud que afecta la movilidad, así como el bienestar psicológico y social de las personas, según la OMS. Estas lesiones incluyen daños en meniscos, rótula y ligamentos (lateral externo, interno, cruzado anterior y posterior), siendo el ligamento cruzado anterior (LCA) el más frecuente, representando el 50% de las lesiones ligamentarias, de las cuales un 75% ocurre durante la práctica deportiva. Suelen requerir cirugía y rehabilitación funcional. El estudio busca determinar los efectos de la terapia manual en la funcionalidad de pacientes post operados de LCA en el Hospital Naval durante 2025. El diseño de esta investigación será experimental, tipo cuasi experimental, donde una variable se relaciona con otra para describir si tiene o no efecto significativo con grupos paralelos (experimental y control), la población estará conformada por todos los pacientes post operados de ligamento cruzado anterior que realicen su tratamiento en el Servicio de Medicina física y rehabilitación del Hospital Naval y fueron atendidos en el periodo anterior, en un total de 50 y serán divididos en 02 grupos respectivamente, el grupo experimental recibirá 18 sesiones de técnica de drenaje, técnica deslizamiento postero tibial sobre el fémur linfático.

Knee injuries, especially in sports, are a health problem that affects mobility, as well as the psychological and social well-being of individuals, according to the WHO. These injuries include damage to the menisci, patella, and ligaments (lateral collateral, medial collateral, anterior cruciate, and posterior cruciate ligaments), with the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) being the most frequent, representing 50% of ligament injuries, 75% of which occur during sports activities. They usually require surgery and functional rehabilitation. The study seeks to determine the effects of manual therapy on the functionality of patients who have undergone ACL surgery at the Naval Hospital during 2025. The design of this research will be experimental, of a quasi-experimental type, where one variable is related to another to describe whether or not it has a significant effect with parallel groups (experimental and control). The population will consist of all patients who have undergone anterior cruciate ligament surgery and who receive treatment at the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Service of the Naval Hospital and were treated in the previous period, in total of 50 and will be divided into 02 groups respectively. The experimental group will receive 18 sessions of drainage technique, posterotibial gliding technique on the lymphatic femur.
