| dc.description.abstract | El estrés se presenta en muchos ámbitos de nuestra vida, en el aspecto familiar, social, emocional, sexual, laboral y académico; ya que existen diversos estresores que los desencadenan, que conlleva a consecuencias como la fatiga, agotamiento físico y psíquico. El estrés en el estudiante puede causar diversos trastornos en el plano conductual, cognitivo y fisiológico; produciendo cambios a corto y largo plazo. Se producen cambios emocionales, cambios en el sistema inmunológico, hasta incluso llegar a cambios en la calidad de sueño, produciendo somnolencia diurna, afectando sus actividades académicas y laborales. Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el estrés académico y la somnolencia diurna en estudiantes de terapia física de la universidad Norbert Wiener, 2018.Método: Estudio de tipo aplicado, transversal, descriptivo, correlacional, prospectivo; conformada por una muestra de 100 estudiantes. Se utilizó el Inventario de SISCO para estrés académico y el Cuestionario de Epworth para somnolencia diurna. Programa estadístico, SPSS versión 23. Resultados y conclusiones: la media de estrés académico fue 44.57±13.74, de los cuales 71% de estudiantes presentaron estrés académico moderado, 21% estrés académico leve y un 8% de tipo profundo; la media de somnolencia diurna fue 9.56±3.78 de los cuales el 62% de estudiantes presentaron somnolencia diurna ligera y el 15% de tipo moderada. Se concluye que en relacion al estrés académico y somnolencia diurna en estudiantes de terapia física de la Universidad Norbert Wiener existe una correlación positiva baja, con un coeficiente de Rho de Sperman de 0,376 y un nivel de significancia de 0.000 < p-valor de 0.005. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Stress occurs in many areas of our lives, in the family, social, emotional, sexual, work and academic aspects; since there are various stressors that trigger them, which leads to consequences such as fatigue, physical and mental exhaustion. Stress in the student can cause various disorders in the behavioral, cognitive and physiological plane; producing changes in the short and long term. There are emotional changes, changes in the immune system, even to reach changes in the quality of sleep, producing daytime sleepiness, affecting their academic and work activities. Objective: To determine the relationship between academic stress and daytime sleepiness in physical therapy students at the Norbert Wiener University, 2018. Method: Applied type study, transversal, descriptive, correlational, prospective; conformed by a sample of 100 students. We used the SISCO Inventory for academic stress and the Epworth Questionnaire for daytime sleepiness. Statistical program, SPSS version 23. Results and conclusions: the average of academic stress was 44.57 ± 13.74, of which 71% of students presented moderate academic stress, 21% mild academic stress and 8% of deep type; the average of daytime sleepiness was 9.56 ± 3.78 of which 62% of students had light daytime drowsiness and 15% of moderate type. It is concluded that in relation to the study variables: academic stress and daytime sleepiness in physical therapy students of the Norbert Wiener University, it is concluded that there is a low positive correlation, with a Sperman's Rho coefficient of 0.376 and a level of significance of 0.000 <p-value of 0.005. | en_US |
