Autocuidado y calidad de vida en pacientes con tuberculosis pulmonar asistentes al centro materno infantil San José, Lima 2024

Abstract

El objetivo de esta investigación será “determinar el nivel de autocuidado y de la calidad de vida en pacientes con tuberculosis asistentes a un Centro Materno Infantil San José, Lima 2024”. Destinará una metodología de enfoque cuantitativo, empleando un diseño transversal para indagar asociación entre variables. La investigación utilizará una estrategia de muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia. La población será de 80 personas bacilo positivas, durante los meses de agosto a octubre del 2024. La recogida de datos empleará dos encuestas, el primero con 20 ítems, evalúa la "calidad de vida en pacientes con tuberculosis" y el segundo de 26 ítems, "autocuidado de los pacientes con tuberculosis". Es importante recordar que ambos instrumentos fueron adaptados para su uso en un entorno comunitario tras haber sido validados en investigaciones anteriores.

The objective of this research will be “to determine the level of self-care and quality of life in patients with tuberculosis attending a Centro Materno Infantil San José, Lima 2024”. It will use a quantitative approach methodology, employing a cross-sectional design to investigate the association between variables. The research will use a non-probabilistic convenience sampling strategy. The population will be 80 bacillus-positive people, during the months of August to October 2024. The data collection will use two surveys, the first one with 20 items, assesses the “quality of life in patients with tuberculosis” and the second one with 26 items, “self-care of patients with tuberculosis”. It is important to remember that both instruments were adapted for use in a community setting after having been validated in previous research.
