Adherencia al tratamiento y calidad de vida en pacientes en hemodiálisis de un centro médico de Chincha, 2026

Abstract

Introducción: Los pacientes con enfermedad renal crónica que reciben hemodiálisis requieren de una buena adherencia al tratamiento, en el cual deben seguir pautas del médico en cuanto a alimentación, medicación, seguimiento médico rutinario y buena actitud (autoeficacia) para cumplir con la terapéutica, siendo estos aspectos vitales para elevar la calidad de vida. Objetivo: “Determinar la relación que existe entre la adherencia al tratamiento y la calidad de vida en pacientes en hemodiálisis de un centro médico de Chincha, 2026”. Material y métodos: La pesquisa tendrá un método hipotético deductivo; cuantitativo, aplicado, no experimental, transversal, correlacional. La población censal estará integrada por un total de 85 pacientes, a quienes se aplicarán 2 cuestionarios debidamente validados y confiables en Perú. Los resultados de la pesquisa permitirán conocer de forma estadística los niveles de las variables en forma global y por dimensiones, a su vez se establecerá la relación entre las variables mediante la ejecución del análisis estadístico Rho Spearman con 95% confianza. Al conocer el comportamiento de las variables, se propondrán medidas y acciones de salud pública e institucionales para mejorar la adherencia al tratamiento y calidad de vida en pacientes hemodializados.

Introduction: Patients with chronic kidney disease undergoing hemodialysis require good treatment adherence, which involves following the physician's guidelines regarding diet, medication, routine medical follow-up, and a positive attitude (self-efficacy) to comply with the therapy. These aspects are vital for improving quality of life. Objective: “To determine the relationship between treatment adherence and quality of life hemodialysis patients at a medical center in Chincha, 2026”. Materials and methods: The study will employ a hypothetical-deductive, quantitative, applied, non-experimental, cross-sectional, correlational method. The census population will consist of 85 patients, who will be administered two questionnaires duly validated and reliable in Peru. The results of the study will provide statistical analysis of the levels of the variables overall and by dimension. The relationship between the variables will be established through Spearman's rho statistical analysis with a 95% confidence level. By understanding the behavior of the variables, public health and institutional measures and actions will be proposed to improve treatment adherence and quality of life in hemodialysis patients.
