Nivel de conocimiento y actitudes de las madres sobre el método madre canguro en recién nacidos prematuros del área de cuidados intensivos neonatales de un hospital público, Juliaca-2026

Abstract

Introducción: El método madre canguro representa una estrategia esencial en el cuidado del recién nacido prematuro, ya que busca favorecer su estabilidad fisiológica y fortalecer el vínculo afectivo con la madre; mediante esto, su efectividad forma parte de los conocimientos y disponibilidad en el materna para aplicarlo correctamente. En ese sentido, comprender estos aspectos resulta fundamental para promover prácticas de cuidado humanizadas y orientadas al bienestar neonatal. Objetivo: "Determinar la correlación entre el grado de conocimiento y las posturas de las madres respecto al método madre canguro en recién nacidos prematuros del sector de cuidados intensivos neonatales de un hospital público, Juliaca-2026". Metodología: Se orienta desde la utilización de método hipotético-deductivo, no experimental, cuantitativo, aplicado, transversal y correlacional.

Introduction: The kangaroo mother care method is an essential strategy in the care of premature newborns, as it seeks to promote their physiological stability and strengthen the emotional bond with the mother. Its effectiveness depends largely on the mother's knowledge and willingness to apply it correctly. In this regard, understanding these aspects is essential to promoting humanised care practices focused on neonatal well-being. Objective: "To determine the correlation between the degree of knowledge and the mothers' positions regarding the kangaroo mother method in premature newborns in the neonatal intensive care sector of a public hospital, Juliaca-2026". Methodology: It is oriented from the use of hypothetical-deductive, non-experimental, quantitative, applied, cross-sectional and correlational methods.
