Importancia de una central de preparados de fórmulas parenterales y los factores que limitan su implementación en un hospital de tercer nivel de atención, año 2020 – Lima, Perú

Abstract

The objective of this research was to evaluate the importance of a Parenteral Formula Preparation Center (CPFP) and the Factors Limiting its Implementation (FLI) in a tertiary-level hospital in Lima, Peru, in 2020. Methodologically, the study was descriptive and focused on the phenomenon in its current state, with a quantitative approach and a cross-sectional design. The technique used was a survey, and the instrument was a relevant questionnaire that considered the variables and indicators. Data were collected on the importance of a CPFP and the FLI in a tertiary-level hospital in 2020. The results indicate the importance of having a CPFP in a tertiary-level hospital, with budgetary availability being a limiting factor. These findings were consistent with expectations and with the reviewed literature. Finally, the demand for parenteral nutrition in a CPFP with FLI in a tertiary-level hospital was direct and significant, with a significance level of α = 0.000. The research, conducted in national tertiary-level hospitals in Lima in 2020, showed a high demand for parenteral nutrition due to a high degree of national referrals and a large population of pediatric and severely malnourished patients, which highlights the importance of a CPFP.

La presente investigación ha tenido por objetivo, evaluar la importancia de una Central de Preparados de Fórmulas Parenterales (CPFP) y los Factores que Limitan su Implementación (FLI) en un hospital de tercer nivel de atención, en el año 2020, en Lima, Perú. Metodológicamente, es descriptivo y se estudió al fenómeno en su estado actual, con enfoque cuantitativo y de corte transversal. La técnica que se usó fue una encuesta y el instrumento es un cuestionario de preguntas elaboradas con pertinencia, considerando las variables e indicadores, se recogió datos sobre la importancia de una CPFP y los FLI en un hospital de tercer nivel de atención, en el año 2020. Los resultados nos indican lo IMPORTANTE que es tener una CPFP en un hospital de tercer nivel de atención, siendo un factor limitante la disponibilidad presupuestal. Siendo concordantes con lo que se esperaba y coherentes con las referencias bibliográficas revisadas. Finalmente, la demanda de Nutrición Parenteral en una CPFP con los FLI en un Hospital de Tercer Nivel de atención, año 2020- Lima, Perú, es directa y significativa con un nivel de significancia 𝛼������=0,000. El trabajo de investigación que se realizó en los hospitales nacionales de tercer Nivel de atención año 2020- Lima, Perú, evidencio la gran demanda de la nutrición parenteral en los diferentes hospitales que se ha visitado por tener alto grado de referencias y contrareferencias a nivel nacional y en muchos de los nosocomios se tiene una población pediátrica y pacientes con un alto grado de desnutrición por lo que se relaciona la demanda de la nutrición parenteral con la importancia de una CPFP.
