Nivel de conocimiento del uso terapeútico del Cannabis y acceso a la información científica en químicos farmaceúticos de Lima – 2021

Abstract

The objective was to determine the knowledge and access to scientific information on the therapeutic use of Cannabis among Pharmaceutical Chemists from CQFDL-2021. Methods: The study design was non-experimental, descriptive, and correlational, surveying 371 Pharmaceutical Chemists with 19 closed questions. Results: 65% of respondents are between 25 and 44 years old. Regarding the legal disposition of Law No. 31312 on the medicinal use of Cannabis, 90.8% indicated they agree or strongly agree. In terms of knowledge level, 50.1% scored well; upon reviewing the dimensions, it was observed that the chemical composition dimension had the highest percentage for the high level, at 52%. In the pharmacological use dimension, the medium level was the highest at 45%, and in the toxicology dimension, the medium level had the highest percentage at 46.1%. Concerning access to information sources, it was determined that they have limited access to scientific articles at 47.2%, limited access to conferences at 39.9%, and no access to workshops at 47.7%. In conclusion, there is a relationship between access to scientific information and the level of knowledge regarding the therapeutic use of cannabis in CQFDL-2021."

El objetivo determinar el conocimiento y el acceso a la información científica del uso terapéutico del Cannabis en Químicos-Farmacéuticos del CQFDL-2021. Métodos. El diseño del estudio fue no experimental, descriptivo y correlacional, 371 Químicos Farmacéuticos encuestados, con 19 preguntas cerradas, Resultados, 65% de los encuestados tienen 25 y 44 años. Acerca de la disposición legal Ley No 31312 sobre el uso medicinal del Cannabis, el 90,8% afirma estar entre de acuerdo y muy de acuerdo. Respecto al nivel de conocimiento, el 50,1% resultó bueno, al revisar sus dimensiones se aprecia que la dimensión de composición química obtuvo un mayor porcentaje para el nivel alto con un 52%, en la dimensión uso farmacológico el nivel medio fue el más elevado con un 45% y para la dimensión toxicología el nivel medio obtuvo mayor porcentaje con un 46,1%. Sobre el acceso a las fuentes de información se determinó que tienen poco acceso a artículos científicos con un 47,2%, que tienen poco acceso a congresos con un 39,9% y que no tienen ningún acceso a talleres con un 47,7%. En conclusión. Sí existe relación entre el acceso a la información científica con el nivel de conocimiento del uso terapéutico del cannabis en CQFDL- 2021.
