La protección de los neonatos prematuros constituye una prioridad para los sistemas sanitarios, dada su susceptibilidad y las complicaciones inherentes a su desarrollo. El Método Madre Canguro; ha evidenciado ser una táctica eficiente para optimizar la supervivencia y el bienestar de estos nonatos esta actividad recae en la enfermera ya que es el profesional que se encarga situar al bebe sobre el pecho de la progenitora y cubre con una manta para protegerlo del cambio de la temperatura ya que el neonato está en la incubadora con una temperatura regulada y al salir de este medio el profesional de salud debe asegurarse que él bebe no pierda calor. Este método nació como una alternativa eficaz y humana al tratamiento en incubadoras Objetivo: “Determinar la relación entre el conocimiento y la actitud sobre el método madre canguro en el profesional de enfermería en la unidad de cuidados intensivos neonatales en un hospital de Lima”. Metodología: no experimental, de método hipotético deductivo asimismo, se seleccionó dos instrumentos; contará con 80 enfermeras como muestra. Por ser una cantidad finita la muestra será censal. Los datos recolectados serán analizados estadísticamente se hará uso de la formula Ro Spearman para verificar la hipótesis y se proyectará en tablas los hallazgos.
Resumen
The protection of premature newborns is a priority for healthcare systems, given their vulnerability and the complications inherent in their development. The Kangaroo Mother Care method has proven to be an efficient tactic for optimizing the survival and well-being of these newborns. This activity falls to the nurse, who is responsible for placing the baby on the mother's chest and covering it with a blanket to protect it from temperature changes. Since the newborn is in the incubator with a regulated temperature, upon leaving this environment, the healthcare professional must ensure that the baby does not lose heat. This method emerged as an effective and humane alternative to incubator treatment. Objective: "To determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes regarding the Kangaroo Mother Care method among nursing professionals in the neonatal intensive care unit of a hospital in Lima." Methodology: A non-experimental. Two instruments were selected and approved and validated by expert judgment. The sample will consist of 80 nurses. Due to the finite size of the sample, it will be a census sample. The collected data will be statistically analyzed, the Spearman's rho formula verify the hypothesis, and the findings will be projected in tables.
