Sobrecarga del cuidador y nivel funcional en niños de un centro de neurorrehabilitación. Lima. 2024

Abstract

La siguiente investigación tiene como finalidad “determinar la relación entre Sobrecarga del cuidador y nivel funcional en niños de un centro de neurorrehabilitación”. Material y método: Como instrumento se utilizó el Cuestionario Zarit para medir la sobrecarga del cuidador y el Sistema de clasificación de función motora gruesa (GMFCS) para medir el nivel funcional de los niños. La muestra está conformada por 40 cuidadores y 40 niños de un centro de neurorrehabilitación hipotético deductivo,cuantitativo tipo aplicado, no experimental, corte transversal y descriptivo correlacional. El análisis de los datos se hizo a través del SPSS y la correlación se determinó con el estadígrafo “Rho Spearman”. Resultados: De los cuidadores el 40% no presenta sobrecarga, el 35% sobrecarga intensa y el 25% sobrecarga leve. Asimismo, el 30% de niños a nivel funcional se encuentra en nivel IV, el 25% nivel II, 20% nivel V y nivel I y III 12.5%. Conclusión: Si existe relación entre sobrecarga del cuidador y nivel funcional de niños.

The purpose of the following research is “to determine the relationship between caregiver overload and functional level in children in a neurorehabilitation center". Material and method: As an instrument, the Zarit Questionnaire was used to measure caregiver overload and the Gross Motor Function Classification System (GMFCS) to measure the functional level of the children. The sample is made up of 40 caregivers and 40 children from a hypothetical deductive, quantitative applied, non-experimental, cross-sectional and descriptive correlational neurorehabilitation center. The data analysis was done through SPSS and the correlation was determined with the “Rho Spearman” statistician. Results: Of the caregivers, 40% have no overload, 35% have intense overload and 25% have mild overload. Likewise, 30% of children at a functional level are at level IV, 25% at level II, 20% at level V and 12.5% at level I and III. Conclusion: There is yes relationship between caregiver overload and children's functional level.
