Calidad del cuidado de enfermería y satisfacción del adulto mayor hospitalizado en el servicio de medicina de un hospital de Essalud 2025

Abstract

En la actualidad se encuentra que el número de pacientes adultos mayores se ha incrementado de manera sustancial; sin embargo, debido a diversos factores que es necesario conocer, aún no se reúnen los índices que se requieren para lograr cuidados enfermeros de calidad, lo que no permite responder integralmente a las necesidades de este grupo etario, afectando la posibilidad de lograr su satisfacción. Objetivo: Determinar cuál es la relación entre la calidad del cuidado de enfermería y la satisfacción del adulto mayor en servicio de medicina de un Hospital de Lima-2025. Metodología: Será hipotético deductivo, cuantitativo, correlacional y participarán 175 adultos mayores, quienes aplicarán un cuestionario con 20 reactivos y otro con 32, para la medición de cada variable, acordes con la técnica de la encuesta seleccionada. Los datos serán procesados en el software SPSS vs. 27 y el contraste de hipótesis se hará mediante el Rho de Spearman.

Currently, the number of older adult patients has increased substantially; however, due to various factors that need to be addressed, the indicators required to achieve quality nursing care have not yet been met. This prevents a comprehensive response to the needs of this age group, thus affecting the possibility of achieving their satisfaction. Objective: To determine the relationship between the quality of nursing care and older adult satisfaction in the medical services of a Lima hospital. Methodology: The methodology will be hypothetical-deductive, quantitative, and correlational. One hundred seventy-five adults will participate. They will administer a questionnaire with 20 items and another with 32 items to measure each variable, consistent with the selected survey technique. The data will be processed using SPSS vs. 27 software, and hypothesis testing will be performed using Spearman's Rho.
