Plataforma Moodle y su influencia en la actitud hacia el aprendizaje virtual en estudiantes de la facultad de estudios a distancia - Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia, 2015

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo principal, determinar la influencia del uso de la plataforma moodle sobre la actitud hacia el aprendizaje virtual de los estudiantes del área de TIC y AVA de los estudios a distancia de la Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia, año 2015. El tipo de investigación fue aplicado de diseño experimental de nivel cuasi experimental, el tamaño de la muestra fue de 46 estudiantes, se usó el muestreo aleatorio simple, la técnica es la encuesta y el instrumento es el cuestionario, para el contraste de hipótesis se utilizó la Prueba U Mann Whitney, de enfoque cuantitativo. A través de los valores obtenidos en el pretest y el postest, se encontró que existe una diferencia significativa, por tanto, existe influencia del uso de la plataforma moodle sobre la actitud hacia el aprendizaje virtual de los estudiantes (valor de Z = - 5,805 y p = 0,000); de forma similar en cada una de las dimensiones: uso de los materiales (valor de Z = - 5,575 y p = 0,000), apoya al sistema de tutoría (valor de Z = - 5,570 y p = 0,000), y uso del entorno tecnológico (valor de Z = - 5,462 y p = 0,000).

The present work of investigation has as principal aim determine the influence of the use of the platform moodle on the attitude towards the e-learning of the students of the area of TIC and AVA of the studies distantly of the Pedagogic and Technological University of Colombia, year 2015. The type of investigation was applied, of experimental design of level cuasi experimentally, the size of sample of 46 students, there was used the random simple sampling, the technology was the survey and the instrument the questionnaire, for the contrast of hypothesis the Test Or Mann Whitney was in use, of quantitative approach. Across the obtained values in the pretest and the postest, one thought that a significant difference exists, that there exists influence of the use of the platform moodle on the attitude towards the e-learning of the students (value of Z = - 5,805 and p = 0,000); of similar form in each of the dimensions: use of materials (value of Z = - 5,575 and p = 0,000), system of tutorship (value of Z = - 5,570 and p = 0,000), and technological environment (value of Z = - 5,462 and p = 0,000).
