Calidad de vida y función motora gruesa en niños con parálisis cerebral infantil en una clínica de Arequipa–2025

Abstract

La parálisis cerebral es una condición neurológica no progresiva que se manifiesta atravez de alteraciones en el movimiento, postura e equilibrio, al mismo tiempo que repercute en la función motora, por ende, ello afecta directamente en el rendimiento físico del infante y genera repercusiones en la calidad de vida del individuo, de la familia y el medio social que le rodea, por consiguiente, la calidad de vida de las personas con parálisis cerebral se ve afectado no solo en la parte física si no también en la parte emocional. Asi mismo, de acuerdo al nivel de limitación funcional tendrá mayor o menor repercusión en sus actividades de la vida diaria, por consiguiente a mayor repercusión de la parte motora presentará mayor dependencia y ello afectará en la participación y percepción de la vida del individuo.

Cerebral palsy is a non-progressive neurological condition that manifests through alterations in movement, posture, and balance, while also impacting motor function. Therefore, it directly affects the child's physical performance and has repercussions on the quality of life of the individual, their family, and their social environment. Consequently, the quality of life of people with cerebral palsy is affected not only physically but also emotionally. Likewise, depending on the level of functional limitation, there will be a greater or lesser impact on their daily activities. Therefore, the greater the impact on motor skills, the greater the dependence, which will affect the individual's participation in and perception of life.
