Efectividad de la implementación de farmacia centro quirúrgico, en el Hospital Carlos Lanfranco La Hoz, Puente Piedra, periodo mayo–octubre 2018

Abstract

The study measured the value of returned medications and medical devices during the period of January to May 2018 (S/ 22,897,338.00), which, when compared to 2017 (S/ 6,538,040.00), demonstrated a savings of S/ 16,359,298.00. In terms of clinical activity indicators, the number of returned items in 2018 was 16,750, compared to 1,461 in 2017, showing a recovery of 15,289 items of medications and medical supplies. The number of prescriptions filled by the Surgical Center Pharmacy after its implementation (May to October 2018) was 5,142, compared to 3,710 in 2017, for a difference of 2,778 prescriptions filled. The total value of medications during the study period showed a growth, reaching S/ 700,019.38. The number of surgical interventions attended by the Surgical Center Pharmacy in 2018 was 2,252, compared to 2,025 in 2017, a difference of 227 operations. The number of suspended surgical interventions decreased from 178 in 2017 to 162 in 2018, a reduction of 28 suspended operations. Emergency surgeries in 2018 were 1,103, compared to 1,006 in 2017, a difference of 97 operations. Operating room performance was 563 in 2018, compared to 506 in 2017, finding a difference of 57 interventions.

SE MIDE EL NÚMERO DE ATENCIONES EN LA FARMACIA CENTRO QUIRÚRGICO POST IMPLEMENTACIÓN (13-MAYO- OCTUBRE 2018), SE ATENDIERON 2018(5,142 RECETAS), AÑO 2017(3,710 RECETAS) DIFERENCIA DE (2,778 RECETAS ATENDIDAS). SE MIDE LA VALORIZACIÓN DE MEDICAMENTOS DURANTE EL PERIODO DE ESTUDIO CON CRECIMIENTO LLEGANDO A (S/. 700,019.38 DURANTE EL PERIODO DE ESTUDIO). SE TOMA EN CUENTA EL NÚMERO DE INTERVENCIONES QUIRÚRGICAS ATENDIDAS POR LA FARMACIA CENTRO QUIRÚRGICO A SALA DE OPERACIONES EL PERIODO DE ESTUDIO 2018(2,252 OPERACIONES QUIRÚRGICAS), COMPARANDO CON EL AÑO 2017(2025 OPERACIONES QUIRÚRGICAS), UNA DIFERENCIA (227 OPERACIONES), LAS INTERVENCIONES QUIRÚRGICAS SUSPENDIDAS FUERON 2018(162), EL 2017(178) DISMINUCIÓN (28 OPERACIONES SUSPENDIDAS). LAS OPERACIONES DE EMERGENCIA EN EL 2018 (1,103), EN 2017 (1,006) CON UNA DIFERENCIA DE (97OPERACIONES) EL RENDIMIENTO DE SALA DE OPERACIONES 2018(563) EN EL 2017(506) HALLANDO UNA DIFERENCIA DE (57 INTERVENCIONES).
