Síndrome de Burnout y calidad de atención en el personal de enfermería del hospital PNP Augusto B. Leguía, Lima – Perú, 2022

Abstract

Objetivo: Determinar la relación que existe entre el síndrome de Burnout y la calidad de atención en el personal de enfermería. Materiales y métodos: Estudio de enfoque cuantitativo, método hipotético deductivo, nivel correlacional y diseño no experimental, transversal. La población estará conformada por 120 personas entre licenciadas en enfermería y técnicos de enfermería que laboran en el hospital PNP Augusto B. Leguía. La técnica a utilizarse fue la encuesta y los instrumentos empleados fueron: el cuestionario de calidad de atención y el cuestionario Maslach Burnout Inventory para medir el síndrome de Burnout. Resultados: Existe una correlación negativa significativa entre las variables síndrome de burnout y calidad de atención del personal de enfermería con un coeficiente de correlación de -0.992. Conclusiones: Se evidencia que existen relaciones negativas y significativas entre el síndrome de Burnout y las dimensiones humana, técnico científica y entorno de la calidad de atención del personal de enfermería, mostrando coeficientes de relación de -0.844, -0.927 y -0.982 respectivamente.

Objective: To determine the relationship between Burnout syndrome and the quality of care in nursing staff. Materials and methods: Quantitative approach study, hypothetical-deductive method, correlational level and non-experimental, crosssectional design. The population will be made up of 120 people between nursing graduates and nursing technicians who work at the PNP Augusto B. Leguía hospital. The technique to be used was the survey and the instruments used were: the quality of care questionnaire and the Maslach Burnout Inventory questionnaire to measure Burnout syndrome. Results: There is a significant negative correlation between the variables burnout syndrome and quality of care of the nursing staff with a correlation coefficient of -0.992. Conclusions: It is evident that there are negative and significant relationships between the Burnout syndrome and the human, technical-scientific and environment dimensions of the quality of nursing care, showing relationship coefficients of -0.844, -0.927 and -0.982 respectively.
