Las TIC como herramienta de aprendizaje y su relación con la motivación hacia la lecto-escritura de los estudiantes de la universidad de la guajira, durante el año 2015

Abstract

El objetivo general de la presente investigación fue determinar la relación que existe entre el uso de las TIC como herramienta de aprendizaje y la motivación hacia la lectoescritura de los estudiantes del programa de Contaduría Pública de La Universidad de La Guajira, durante el año 2015. La investigación se desarrolló con el enfoque de la metodología cuantitativa, en un nivel correlacional, ya que buscaba la asociación entre dos variables, su diseño fue no experimental y transversal debido a que los datos se tomaron en un solo momento del tiempo a través de un cuestionario con escala tipo Likert. El instrumento fue validado por tres expertos y arrojó una confiabilidad de (𝛼 = 0,80) con el estadístico alfa de Cronbach y se utilizó para el análisis de datos el software SPSS, como también para determinar el coeficiente de correlación de Pearson. De los resultados de investigación, se concluyen dos hechos fundamentales, el primero que los procesos cognitivos, el aprendizaje significativo y la motivación son elementos que fomentan la lectoescritura, y segundo, que existe relación con respecto a las TIC como herramientas de aprendizaje y la variable motivación hacia la lectoescritura en los estudiantes del segundo semestre de Contaduría Pública (𝜌 = 0,38). El uso de las TIC es una estrategia que favorece el desarrollo de la lectoescritura, como acto comunicativo debido a que sus experiencias lectoras le permiten al estudiante establecer relaciones intra y extratextuales requeridas como presaberes para contextualizar el aquí y el ahora de un texto, que en definitivas son el fundamento de un lector activo.

The general objective of the present investigation was to determine the relationship between the use of ICT as a learning tool and the motivation for the reading and writing of students of the Public Accounting program of La Guajira University during the year 2015. The research was developed with the approach of quantitative methodology, at a correlational level, since it sought the association between two variables, its design was non-experimental and transversal because the data were taken in a single moment of time through a Questionnaire with Likert scale. The instrument was validated by three experts and yielded a reliability of (α = 0.80) with the Cronbach alpha statistic and the SPSS software was used for data analysis as well as to determine the Pearson correlation coefficient. From the research results, two fundamental facts are concluded, the first that cognitive processes, meaningful learning and motivation are elements that promote literacy, and secondly, that there is a relationship with respect to ICT as learning tools and the variable Motivation towards reading and writing in the students of the second semester of public accounting (ρ = 0.38). The use of ICT is a strategy that favors the development of literacy, as a communicative act because its reading experiences allow the student to establish intra and extratextual relationships required as presbers to contextualize the here and now of a text, which in Are the foundation of an active reader.
