Inteligencia emocional y estrés laboral en el personal de enfermería del Hospital Militar Central, Lima – 2025

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo principal analizar la relación entre la inteligencia emocional y el estrés laboral en el personal de enfermería del Hospital Militar Central. Este estudio desarrolló bajo el enfoque cuantitativo, con un diseño no experimental, de corte transversal y correlacional. La muestra estuvo conformada por 121 profesionales de enfermería, seleccionados mediante muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia. Para la recolección de datos se implementaron el TMMS-24 y la Escala de Estrés Laboral. Los hallazgos revelaron una correlación significativa, inversa y débil entre las variables (rho = - 0.27; p < 0.05). De este modo, se concluye que los niveles de inteligencia emocional se asocian de forma estadísticamente significativa con la disminución de los niveles del estrés laboral en el personal de enfermería del Hospital Militar Central.

This research aimed to analyze the relationship between emotional intelligence and occupational stress among nursing staff at the Central Military Hospital. The study followed a quantitative approach with a non-experimental, cross-sectional, and correlational design. The sample consisted of 121 nursing professionals, selected through non-probability convenience sampling. Data were collected using the TMMS-24 and the Occupational Stress Scale. The findings indicated a weak but statistically significant inverse correlation between the variables (rho = -0.27; p < 0.05). Therefore, it is concluded that higher levels of emotional intelligence are significantly associated with lower levels of occupational stress among nursing staff at the Central Military Hospital.
