Factores asociados para la elección de métodos anticonceptivos en las puérperas atendidas en el C.M.I Laura Rodríguez, 2024

Abstract

El estudio tiene como finalidad identificar los elementos que influyen en la selección de anticonceptivos por mujeres en etapa de posparto atendidas en el Centro Materno Infantil Laura Rodríguez, 2024. El estudio se enmarca bajo un enfoque cuantitativo y analítico, el diseño del estudio fue de tipo casos y controles, con corte transversal, correlacional y con proyección futura. Se trabajó con una muestra de 80 puérperas seleccionadas mediante muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia. Se utilizó como instrumento un cuestionario estructurado dividido en tres dimensiones: factores sociodemográficos, gineco-obstétricos y actitudinales. Los datos fueron introducidos en SPSS para examinar las asociaciones entre los distintos factores estudiados. Los resultados evidenciarán la influencia significativa de algunos factores sobre elección sobre el uso de anticonceptivos durante el periodo posparto. Esta investigación busca contribuir al fortalecimiento de estrategias de planificación familiar desde una perspectiva de salud pública, mejorando así la calidad de atención en el puerperio y promoviendo el ejercicio de los derechos reproductivos.

The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that influence the choice of contraceptives by postpartum women treated at the Laura Rodríguez Maternal and Child Health Center, 2024. The study was conducted using a quantitative and analytical approach, with a case control design, cross-sectional, correlational, and with future projections. A sample of 80 postpartum women was selected using non-probabilistic convenience sampling. A structured questionnaire divided into three dimensions was used as an instrument: sociodemographic, gynecological-obstetric, and attitudinal factors. The data were entered into SPSS to examine the associations between the different factors studied. The results will show the significant influence of certain factors on the choice of contraceptive use during the postpartum period. This research seeks to contribute to the strengthening of family planning strategies from a public health perspective, thereby improving the quality of care in the postpartum period and promoting the exercise of reproductive rights.
