El presente estudio tiene busca determinar la atención humanizado y satisfacción de la familia del paciente en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos de un hospital de lima, durante el año 2024. En cuanto a su metodología es de enfoque cuantitativo y se basa en el método hipotético-deductivo. Por su naturaleza, es un estudio aplicado con un diseño transversal. La población de estudio estuvo constituida por 200 familiares de pacientes hospitalizados en la unidad de cuidados intensivos. Para la recolección de datos, se utilizó los siguientes instrumentos: "Percepción del comportamiento de cuidado humanizado den enfermería (PCHE)", ampliamente validado en contextos nacionales e internacionales. Así Como El instrumento "Family Satisfaction in the Intensive Care Unit" (FSICU), creado por el Dr. Daren Heyland. Los hallazgos de esta investigación serán de gran relevancia para mejorar la calidad del cuidado humanizado en pacientes críticos y además sirve como antecedentes para futuros estudios.
Resumen
The present study seeks to determine the humanized care and satisfaction of the patient's family in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital in Lima, during the year 2024. Regarding its methodology, it has a quantitative approach and is based on the hypothetical-deductive method. By its nature, it is an applied study with a cross-sectional design. The study population consisted of 200 relatives of patients hospitalized in the intensive care unit. For data collection, the following instruments were used: "Perception of humanized care behavior in nursing (PCHE)", widely validated in national and international contexts. As well as the instrument "Family Satisfaction in the Intensive Care Unit" (FSICU), created by Dr. Daren Heyland. The findings of this research will be of great relevance to improve the quality of humanized care in critically ill patients and also serves as background for future studies.
