Relación entre el test no estresante y Apgar neonatal en recién nacidos atendidos en Hospital Coracora, 2024

Abstract

Este trabajo tuvo como objetivo analizar la relación entre el test no estresante y el Apgar neonatal en recién nacidos atendidos en el Hospital Coracora, 2024. En el aspecto metodológico siguió la ruta cuantitativa, diseño analítico, observacional y corte transversal, la población y muestra fue de 100 gestantes, y para recoger datos se usó la técnica análisis documentario e instrumento ficha de recolección de datos. Los resultados exhibieron que 74% de las participantes no mostró patologías durante su embarazo, 78% culminó su parto por vía vaginal y el 92% llegó a término. En tanto, 93% de neonatos de gestantes con test NST reactivo consiguió un puntaje de Apgar de 7 a 10 rango normal tanto al 1’ como al 5’ de vida. Pero 7% de los casos con NST no reactivo exhibió signos de depresión leve al primer minuto, no obstante, a los 5 minutos de vida todos lograron valores normales. En contraste, el 7,0 % de los casos con NST no reactivo presentó Apgar al minuto correspondiente a depresión leve, pero alcanzó valores normales a los cinco minutos. Se concluyó que estadísticamente no existe relación significativa entre los resultados del NST y el puntaje de Apgar (p = 0.8).

This study aimed to analyze the relationship between the non-stress test (NST) and the neonatal Apgar score in newborns treated at Coracora Hospital in 2024. Methodologically, it followed a quantitative approach, with an analytical, observational, and cross-sectional design. The population and sample consisted of 100 pregnant women, and data was collected using documentary analysis and a data collection form. The results showed that 74% of the participants did not present any pathologies during their pregnancy, 78% delivered vaginally, and 92% reached term. Meanwhile, 93% of newborns of mothers with a reactive NST achieved an Apgar score of 7 to 10, a normal range, at both 1 and 5 minutes of life. However, 7% of the cases with non-reactive NST showed signs of mild depression at one minute; nevertheless, by 5 minutes of life, all achieved normal values. In contrast, 7.0% of the cases with non-reactive NST presented Apgar scores at one minute corresponding to mild depression, but reached normal values ​​by five minutes. It was concluded that there is no statistically significant relationship between the NST results and the Apgar score (p = 0.8).
