Evaluación de irritabilidad por el método HET - CAM en toallitas húmedas vendidas en el mercado mesa redonda, Lima-2025

Abstract

El objetivo fue “Determinar la evaluación de irritabilidad por el método de HET-CAM en las soluciones presentes en las toallitas húmedas de venta en el mercado de Mesa Redonda 2025”. Se empleó el método hipotético-deductivo con enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo básico y diseño experimental. La población estuvo constituida por 10 tipos de toallitas húmedas para niños de diferentes marcas disponibles en el mercado de Mesa Redonda. Se utilizaron huevos de gallinas fértiles provenientes de la Granja “Agriproducts s.a.c”, cuya incubación fue realizada por los investigadores. De estas, se extrajeron soluciones de 5 tipos de toallitas húmedas para niños, trabajando con 50 huevos embrionados de 10 días de incubación. La técnica de recolección de datos fue la observación directa, mediante ficha de registro estandarizada. Los resultados obtenidos mostraron índices de irritabilidad (II) leve y moderada en las muestras evaluadas por el método HET-CAM: Muestra 1 con 3,41 (irritante leve); Muestra 2 con 3,53 (irritante leve); Muestra 3 con 7,74 (irritante moderado); Muestra 4 con 7,73 (irritante moderado); y Muestra 5 con 6,81 (irritante moderado). Se concluye que las toallitas húmedas estudiadas presentan un potencial irritante leve a moderado según el método HET-CAM.

The objective was to "Determine the irritability assessment using the HET-CAM method in the solutions present in baby wipes sold in the Mesa Redonda market in 2025." A hypothetical-deductive method with a quantitative approach was used, employing a basic research design and experimental approach. The population consisted of 10 types of baby wipes from different brands available in the Mesa Redonda market. Fertile eggs from the "Agriproducts s.a.c." farm were used, and their incubation was carried out by the researchers. Solutions from 5 types of baby wipes were extracted from these eggs, using 50 embryonated eggs with a 10-day incubation period. The data collection technique was direct observation, using a standardized recording form. The results obtained showed mild and moderate irritability indices (II) in the samples evaluated by the HET-CAM method: Sample 1 with 3.41 (mild irritant); Sample 2 with 3.53 (mild irritant); Sample 3 with 7.74 (moderate irritant); Sample 4 with 7.73 (moderate irritant); and Sample 5 with 6.81 (moderate irritant). It is concluded that the studied wet wipes present a mild to moderate irritant potential according to the HET-CAM method.
