Hueso liofilizado y su relación con la inflamación post operatoria en pacientes con cirugía apical atendidos en la Clínica Arrascue Nazario y Carlín entre los años 2022 y 2023

Abstract

En este estudio se planteó como objetivo determinar la relación entre el hueso liofilizado y la inflamación post operatoria en pacientes con cirugía apical atendidos en la clínica Arrascue Nazario y Carlín entre los años 2022 y 2023. Por tanto, se fundamentó en un estudio básico, con implicancia del método hipotético- deductivo, bajo enfoque cuantitativo, sentando sus bases en un diseño no experimental y correlacional, considerándose la evaluación de 60 historias clínicas de pacientes con cirugía apical del periodo de marzo del 2022 a setiembre del año 2023 de la clínica Arrascue Nazario y Carlín, ejecutándose dicho análisis por medio de una ficha de observación para cada variable. Entre los resultados, se encontró que, el valor de correlación de Spearman, el cual reveló un valor de -0,316 con una sig, de 0,014 entre el hueso liofilizado y la inflamación post operatoria. Concluyendo que, si existe relación entre las variables, además la elección de hueso liofilizado como material de injerto desempeña un papel crucial en la reducción de la respuesta inflamatoria en pacientes sometidos a cirugía apical.

The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between freeze-dried bone and postoperative inflammation in patients with apical surgery treated at the Arrascue Nazario y Carlín clinic between 2022 and 2023. Therefore, it was based on a basic study, with implication of the hypothetico-deductive method, under a quantitative approach, laying its foundations in a non-experimental and correlational design, considering the evaluation of 60 medical records of patients with apical surgery from the period from March 2022 to September 2023 from the Arrascue Nazario clinic and Carlín, said analysis being carried out through an observation sheet for each variable. Among the results, it was found that the Spearman correlation value, which revealed a value of -0.316 with a sig of 0.014 between the lyophilized bone and postoperative inflammation. Concluding that, if there is a relationship between the variables, the choice of freeze-dried bone as graft material also plays a crucial role in reducing the inflammatory response in patients undergoing apical surgery.
