Conocimiento y manejo de oxigenoterapia por el profesional de enfermería en el servicio de emergencia de un hospital público del Callao, 2026

Abstract

Objetivo: Determinar el enlace entre el entendimiento y manejo de la terapia con oxigeno por la licenciada en el área de urgencias de un hospital. Metodología: la indagación será cuantitativa, transversal, correlacional, aplicada y no experimental, muestra integrada por 80 licenciadas que prestan servicio en la sala de urgencias. Método para la reunión de información será la observación y la encuesta, se usarán dos herramientas que tienen como título: Guía de observación del uso de la terapia con oxígeno y conocimiento sobre la terapia con oxígeno, que serán validadas y adaptadas a nuestra realidad nacional, ambas nos ayudarán a cuantificar las variables. Para la aplicación de las herramientas las licenciadas tendrán que dar su aprobación voluntaria mediante el consentimiento informado, se garantizará la privacidad, reducirán riesgos y se asegurará su autonomía. Las referencias que se recauden se las organizará en un banco de información con la ayuda del sistema Microsoft Excel para posteriormente procesarlos en el sistema SPSS – 25, luego serán mostrados en barras y gráficos. Mas adelante se utilizará la verificación estadística no paramétrica Rho de Spearman que calculará el enlace que hay entre los parámetros del análisis. Finalmente se ejecutará la constatación de las hipótesis. Así mismo se respetará los aspectos éticos establecidos por la universidad.

Objective: To determine the relationship between the understanding and management of oxygen therapy by registered nurses in the emergency department of a hospital. Methodology: This will be a quantitative, cross-sectional, correlational, applied, and non-experimental study. The sample will consist of 80 registered nurses working in the emergency department. Data collection will be carried out through observation and surveys. Two instruments will be used: an observation guide for the use of oxygen therapy and a knowledge survey on oxygen therapy. These instruments will be validated and adapted to our national context, and both will help us quantify the variables. Registered nurses will need to provide their voluntary consent through informed consent to participate in the study. Privacy will be guaranteed, risks will be reduced, and their autonomy will be ensured. The collected data will be organized in a database using Microsoft Excel and subsequently processed using SPSS-25. The results will then be displayed in bar charts and graphs. Finally, Spearman's rho, a non-parametric statistical test, will be used to calculate the relationship between the parameters of the analysis. Finally, the hypotheses will be tested. The ethical guidelines established by the university will be respected.
