Nivel de ejercicio físico y calidad de vida en adultos mayores con hipertensión arterial de un hospital de Lima, 2025

Abstract

Este estudio busca determinar la relación entre el nivel de ejercicio físico y a calidad de vida en adultos mayores con hipertensión arterial de un hospital de Lima en 2025. Para ello, se utilizarán dos instrumentos: el GPAQ que mide el nivel de actividad física en adultos mayores, y test de MINICHAL para evaluar la calidad de vida del adulto mayor que se centra en la dimensión emocional, física y social de la calidad de vida. La muestra estará compuesta por 100 adultos mayores de un hospital de Lima. Se espera encontrar una relación positiva entre ambas mediciones que se realizaran, de modo que quienes desarrollen ejercicio físico dependiendo su calidad de vida puedan regular su presión arterial. Esto podría permitir utilizar el instrumento GPAQ y test de MINICHAL para llevar un seguimiento a las personas adultos mayores.

This study seeks to determine the relationship between the level of physical exercise and quality of life in older adults with hypertension at a hospital in Lima in 2025. To this end, two instruments will be used: the GPAQ, which measures the level of physical activity in older adults, and the MINICHAL test to assess the quality of life of older adults, focusing on the emotional, physical, and social dimensions of quality of life. The sample will consist of 100 older adults from a hospital in Lima. A positive relationship is expected between both measurements, so that those who engage in physical exercise, depending on their quality of life, may be able to regulate their blood pressure. This could allow the use of the GPAQ and MINICHAL tests to monitor older adults.
