Conocimiento sobre autocuidado y práctica en pacientes con ostomías del servicio de Cirugía del Instituto Nacional de Salud del Niño Breña, Lima, 2025

Abstract

La investigación tiene como objetivo “Determinar la relación entre el conocimiento sobre autocuidado y la práctica en pacientes con ostomías”. Métodos: Se empleará una metodología aplicada, cuantitativa, observacional y transversal, con una muestra de 85 pacientes con ostomías del Servicio de Cirugía del Instituto Nacional de Salud del Niño Breña, Lima, 2025. Con la finalidad obtener la información necesaria, se empleará la técnica de encuesta mediante la aplicación de dos cuestionarios. Una vez recopilada, los datos serán clasificados y estructurados en una matriz, que posteriormente se analizará estadísticamente empleando el software SPSS 25.0. Se aplicarán técnicas estadísticas descriptivas e inferenciales; para estas últimas, se empleará Rho de Spearman, que permitirá verificar la consistencia y validez de las hipótesis planteadas, facilitando así la formulación de las conclusiones derivadas del análisis de las variables estudiadas.

The research aims to "Determine the relationship between knowledge about self-care and practice in patients with ostomies". Methods: An applied, quantitative, observational and cross-sectional methodology will be used, with a sample of 85 patients with ostomies from the Surgery Service of the Instituto Nacional de Salud del Niño Breña, Lima, 2025. In order to obtain the necessary information, the survey technique will be used through the application of two questionnaires. Once collected, the information will be coded and organized into a matrix, which will be statistically analyzed using SPSS 25.0 software. Descriptive and inferential statistical methods will be applied; in the latter case, Spearman's Rho will be used, which will allow the consistency and validity of the hypotheses raised to be verified, thus facilitating the formulation of the conclusions derived from the analysis of the variables studied.
