Ansiedad pre-operatoria y su relación con el dolor post-operatorio en pacientes adultos sometidos a cirugías electivas del Hospital Carlos Lanfranco La Hoz, Lima 2024

Abstract

El fin de esta investigación es: Analizar la relación de la ansiedad pre-operatoria con el dolor post-operatorio en pacientes adultos sometidos a cirugías electivas del Hospital Carlos Lanfranco La Hoz en Lima, 2024. Material y Método: La investigación adoptará una perspectiva cuantitativa, diseño no experimental, de tipo descriptivo correlacional, de corte transversal. La población estará compuesta por 485 pacientes agendados para intervención quirúrgica de abdomen. El método para obtener la información será el cuestionario y el instrumento para evaluar la ansiedad es el Inventario de Ansiedad de Beck aplicada por: American Psychological Association, 1994 y la Escala Visual Analógica por: Canorio y Cárdenas. Los instrumentos fueron aprobados y confiabilisados con un alfa de crombach de 0.89 para la variable ansiedad y un alfa de crombach de 0.90 para la variable dolor. La información fue analizada mediante el software SPSS en su versión más reciente. Las conclusiones a las que se llegó son: Existe una relación estadísticamente significativa entre ansiedad pre-operatoria con el dolor post-operatorio en pacientes adultos sometidos a cirugías electivas del Hospital Carlos Lanfranco Laoz, Lima 2024, que permita disminuir el dolor en las cirugías.

The aim of this research is: To analyze the relationship between preoperative anxiety and postoperative pain in adult patients undergoing elective surgery at the Carlos Lanfranco La Hoz Hospital in Lima, Lima, 2024. Method: The research will adopt a quantitative perspective, non-experimental design, descriptive correlational, cross-sectional type. The population will be composed of 485 patients scheduled for abdominal surgery. The method to obtain the information will be the questionnaire and the instrument to evaluate anxiety is the Beck Anxiety Inventory applied by: American Psychological Association, 1994 and the Visual Analog Scale by: Canorio and Cardenas. The instruments were approved and reliable with a Crombach's alpha of 0.89 for the anxiety variable and a Crombach's alpha of 0.90 for the pain variable. The information was analyzed using the most recent version of SPSS software. The conclusions reached are: There is a statistically significant relationship between preoperative anxiety and postoperative pain in adult patients undergoing elective surgeries at the Carlos Lanfranco Laoz Hospital, Lima 2024, which allows to reduce pain in surgeries.
