Estrés parental y bienestar psicológico en padres de niños con trastornos del neurodesarrollo de un hospital estatal, Lima – 2025

Abstract

El presente estudio de investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre estrés parental y bienestar psicológico en padres de niños con trastornos del neurodesarrollo en un Hospital Estatal, Lima - 2025. La metodología empleada corresponde al método hipotético-deductivo, de enfoque cuantitativo, tipo básica, diseño no experimental, corte transversal y de nivel correlacional. En la cosecha de datos, se aplicó el “Inventario de Estrés Parental simplificada (PSI-SF)” y el “Instrumento de Bienestar Psicológico (SPWB)”. La muestra fue integrada por 80 padres de infantes con trastornos del neurodesarrollo. En cuanto a los resultados, se observó que un 57.5% de los colaboradores mostró un grado medio de estrés parental, mientras que un 31.3% mostró un grado promedio de bienestar psicológico. Finalmente, se descubrió una correlaciona negativa entre el estrés parental y el bienestar psicológico (rho = -.556; p= 0.00). En conclusión, los resultados indican que, a mayor nivel de estrés parental, menor es el bienestar psicología de los padres de familia con infantes con síndrome del neurodesarrollo.

The present research study aims to determine the relationship between parental stress and psychological well-being in parents of children with neurodevelopmental disorders at a State Hospital in Lima, Peru. The methodology used is a hypothetical deductive approach, with a basic quantitative approach, a non-experimental design, a cross-sectional approach, and a correlational level. Data collection involved the Simplified Parental Stress Inventory (PSI-SF) and the Psychological Well-being Instrument (SPWB). The sample consisted of 80 parents of children with neurodevelopmental disorders. The results showed that 57.5% of the participants reported moderate parental stress, while 31.3% reported moderate psychological well-being. Finally, a negative correlation was found between parental stress and psychological well being (rho = -.556; p = 0.00). To conclude, the results indicate that the higher the level of parental stress, the lower the psychological well-being of parents with children with neurodevelopmental syndrome.
