El síndrome de burnout y desempeño laboral de las enfermeras de un hospital nacional II-1, 2024

Abstract

El síndrome de Burnout se definirá como una respuesta al estrés laboral crónico y acumulativo, con negativos efectos a nivel individual como empresarial. Este síndrome se presentará de manera particular en ciertos ámbitos de trabajo, especialmente en el profesional, voluntario o doméstico, donde se interactúe directamente con colectivos vulnerables, como personas con alta dependencia o alumnos con problemas de conducta. Por tanto, el objetivo será determinar de qué manera el síndrome de burnout se relaciona con el desempeño laboral de las enfermeras. Siendo de diseño no experimental, aplicada, correlacional y cuantitativo, destacándose que, la población objeto del estudio estará compuesta por 90 licenciados en enfermería pertenecientes a diversas áreas del mencionado hospital nacional II-1 en el año 2024. En base a ello, se ejecutará la estadística descriptiva con frecuencias y porcentajes, así como la inferencial, correspondiente a cada hipótesis a ser probada, en base a lo que se obtenga en la normalidad de datos de Kolmogorov- Smirnov, con ello se podrá seleccionar entre Pearson para datos normales o Spearman, para aquellos que no cumplen con esa condición. Asimismo, se respetará los aspectos éticos establecidos por la universidad.

Burnout syndrome is defined as a response to chronic and cumulative work stress, with negative effects at both individual and business levels. This syndrome is particularly present in certain work environments, especially in professional, voluntary or domestic work, where there is direct interaction with vulnerable groups, such as highly dependent people or students with behavioural problems. Therefore, the objective will be to determine how burnout syndrome is related to the job performance of nurses. Being of non-experimental, applied, correlational and quantitative design, highlighting that the population object of the study will be composed of 90 nursing graduates belonging to various areas of the aforementioned national hospital II-1 in 2024. Based on this, descriptive statistics with frequencies and percentages will be executed, as well as inferential statistics, corresponding to each hypothesis to be tested, based on what is obtained in the normality of Kolmogorov-Smirnov data, with this it will be possible to select between Pearson for normal data or Spearman, for those that do not meet that condition. Likewise, the ethical aspects established by the university will be respected.
