La preocupación ambiental y el comportamiento ecológico de los estudiantes de la universidad Santiago de Cali – Colombia- año, 2018

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación tiene principal objetivo el determinar la relación entre la preocupación ambiental y el comportamiento ecológico de los estudiantes de la Universidad Santiago de Cali - Colombia, año 2018; el tipo fue aplicada de nivel correlacional, de diseño no experimental, la muestra fue de 375 estudiantes, la técnica fue la encuesta y el instrumento fue el cuestionario, de enfoque cuantitativo. Se encontró que el 52,0% de los estudiantes perciben de nivel regular la preocupación por la problemática ambiental que atraviesa su localidad, siendo las dimensiones más destacadas la “Alarma” y el “Locus de control” y la focalizada a mejorar la “Preocupación social”; y que el 50,9% de los estudiantes consideran de nivel regular su comportamiento ecológico, siendo las dimensiones más destacados la “Conservación de la energía” y el “Consumo” y la focalizada a mejorar los “Residuos”. Se concluye que existe relación directa y considerable (valor de Rho = 0,656 y valor de p = 0,000) entre la preocupación ambiental y el comportamiento ecológico de los estudiantes; existe relación directa entre cada una de las dimensiones de la variable “Preocupación ambiental” (alarma, confort, control doméstico, preocupación social, economía recibida, información y locus de control) con la variable “Comportamiento ecológico”.

The present work of investigation has principal aim determine the relation between the environmental worry and the ecological behavior of the students of the University Santiago of Cali - Colombia, year 2018; the type was applied of level correlacional, of not experimental design, the sample belonged 375 students, the technology was the survey and the instrument was the questionnaire, of quantitative approach. One thought that 52,0% of the students perceives of regular level the worry for the environmental problematics that crosses his locality, being the most out-standing dimensions the "Alarm" and the "Locus of control" and the focused one to improving the "Social worry"; and that 50,9% of the students considers of regular level his ecological behavior, being the dimensions more out-standing the "Conservation of the energy" and the "Consumption" and the focused one to improving the "Residues". One concludes that there exists direct and considerable relation (Rho's value = 0,656 and value of p = 0,000) between the environmental worry and the ecological behavior of the students; direct relation exists between each of the dimensions of the variable "environmental Worry" (alarm, comfort, domestic control, social worry, received economy, information and locus of control) with the variable one "Ecological behavior".
