El trabajo del enfermero que se efectúa con pacientes oncológicos es sumamente sensible, debido al proceso que atraviesan durante su tratamiento. En ese sentido, se ha podido detectar las dificultades que atraviesan para afrontar la enfermedad, debido a los graves estragos que genera el cáncer y a la incertidumbre que les produce, panorama que los expone a empeorar su calidad de vida y reduce la posibilidad de recuperación. OBJETIVO: Determinar la relación entre las estrategias de afrontamiento y la calidad de vida en pacientes oncológicos de una clínica privada de Lima, 2025. MATERIALES Y MÉTODOS: cuantitativo, descriptivo y correlacional. Se considerarán a 80 pacientes. Se empleará la encuesta y los instrumentos serán el cuestionario de afrontamiento al estrés en pacientes oncológicos (CAEPO) conformado por 40 preguntas para medir la variable estrategias de afrontamiento y el cuestionario de calidad de vida EORTC QLQ-C30, con 30 ítems.
Resumen
The nursing of work carried out with cancer patients is extremely sensitive, due to the process they go through during their treatment. In this sense, it has been possible to detect the difficulties they go through in facing the disease, due to the serious damage caused by cancer and the uncertainty it produces, a panorama that exposes them to a worsening of their quality of life and reduces the possibility of recovery. OBJECTIVE: Determine the relationship between coping strategies and quality of life in oncology patients in a private clinic in Lima, 2025. MATERIALS AND METHODS: quantitative, descriptive and correlational. 80 patients will be considered. The survey will be used and the instruments will be the coping with stress in oncology patients questionnaire (CAEPO) made up of 40 questions to measure the coping strategies variable and the EORTC QLQ-C30 quality of life questionnaire, with 30 items.
