Competencias teóricas y prácticas en el cuidado al recién nacido en madres primerizas de un establecimiento de EsSalud de Oyon-Lima, 2025

Abstract

Los cuidados centrados en el recién nacido que brindan las madres primerizas en el ambiente extrauterino conllevan a una serie de conocimientos y prácticas que la madre va adquiriendo por primera vez, ya que la transición a la maternidad se considera como una etapa crítica que requiere preparación y acompañamiento lleno de diferentes conocimientos, habilidades y prácticas cotidianas relacionadas con la higiene alimentación, sueño y estimulación del recién nacido que en forma conjunta de su cuidado integral, donde el estudio también considera la influencia de los diferente entornos que de cierta manera influyen en el cuidado como es el entorno social, educativo y de salud en la formación de estas competencias para la madre primeriza. El propósito de este estudio es establecer la conexión entre las competencias teóricas y prácticas en madres primíparas en el cuidado del neonato, de tal forma la metodología que se utilizará en la presente investigación será cuantitativa, descriptiva y de diseño correlacional. Por consiguiente, la población estará conformada por 80 madres que están teniendo su primer hijo y que sean parte del establecimiento-EsSalud, donde se aplicará un cuestionario validado de 34 preguntas con respuestas cerradas para la variable competencias teóricas y una herramienta de observación que contiene 15 interrogantes para evaluar la atención a los recién nacidos.

The newborn-centered care provided by first-time mothers in the extrauterine environment entails a series of knowledge and practices that the mother is acquiring for the first time, since the transition to motherhood is considered a critical stage that requires preparation and accompaniment full of different knowledge, skills and daily practices related to hygiene, feeding, sleep and stimulation of the newborn that together with their comprehensive care, where the study also considers the influence of different environments that in some way influence care such as the social, educational and health environment in the formation of these competencies for the first-time mother. The purpose of this study is to establish the connection between theoretical and practical competencies in first-time mothers in newborn care, such that the methodology that will be used in the present investigation will be quantitative, descriptive and correlational design. Therefore, the population will be comprised of 80 mothers who are having their first child and who are part of the EsSalud primary care center. A validated questionnaire with 34 closed-ended questions for the theoretical competencies variable and an observation tool containing 15 questions to evaluate newborn care will be administered.
