Sobrecarga y ansiedad en cuidadores primarios de pacientes pediátricos con patología crónica en el Hospital de Alta Complejidad “Virgen de la Puerta” 2025

Abstract

El objetivo de estudio será determinar la relación entre la sobrecarga y la ansiedad en cuidadores primarios de pacientes pediátricos con patología crónica en el Hospital de Alta Complejidad “Virgen de la Puerta”, 2025. El método de investigación será hipotético – deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, tipo de investigación aplicada y diseño no experimental, correlacional y transversal. La población estará conformada por todos cuidadores primarios de los pacientes pediátricos que son hospitalizados en el Servicio de Pediatría del HACVP en el periodo de agosto - diciembre 2025., siendo la muestra 81 participantes. Las variables en estudio serán: sobrecarga, que será evaluada con la “escala de Sobrecarga del Cuidador de Zarit” y la ansiedad que se valorará con el instrumento IDARE. En el análisis estadístico se empleará el coeficiente de Spearman, con un nivel de significancia de p < 0,05.

The objective of this study is to determine the relationship between caregiver burden and anxiety in primary caregivers of pediatric patients with chronic illnesses at the "Virgen de la Puerta" High Complexity Hospital in 2025. The research method will be hypothetical-deductive, with a quantitative approach, applied research type, and a non-experimental, correlational, and cross sectional design. The population will consist of all primary caregivers of pediatric patients hospitalized in the Pediatric Service of the HACVP between August and December 2025, with a sample of 81 participants. The variables under study will be caregiver burden, which will be assessed using the Zarit Caregiver Burden Scale, and anxiety, which will be assessed using the IDARE instrument. Spearman's rank correlation coefficient will be used for statistical analysis, with a significance level of p < 0.05.
