Intervención educativa “Renuévate” sobre la prevención del embarazo adolescente en alumnos de secundaria de una institución privada, 2024

Abstract

Objetivo: Determinar la efectividad de la Intervención educativa “Renuévate” sobre la prevención del embarazo adolescente en alumnos de secundaria de una Institución privada, 2024. Metodología: La investigación fue de enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicada, diseño pre experimental; contó con una muestra censal, no probabilística conformada por 31 estudiantes. La técnica de estudio fue la encuesta y se usaron 2 instrumentos para medir los datos, un cuestionario para los conocimientos y una escala de Likert para las actitudes. Resultados: Respecto a las características sociodemográficas de los alumnos, en mayor porcentaje fueron del sexo masculino (51,6%), la edad más frecuente fue 15 años (54,8%) y generalmente practican la religión Evangélica/cristiana (64,5%). En el pre test el 41,9% obtuvo un nivel de conocimiento regular, el 32,3% alto y 25.8% bajo; mientras que en el post test el 93,5% presentó un nivel alto. Con respecto a las actitudes, en el pre test solo el 29% presentó actitudes favorables, mientras que en el post test esta cifra aumentó a 90,3%. Finalmente, la variación de los valores pre y post test resultó ser estadísticamente significativa para ambas variables (p < 0,001). Conclusión: La Intervención educativa “Renuévate” sobre la prevención del embarazo adolescente en alumnos de secundaria de una Institución privada, 2024; es efectiva.

Objective: To determine the effectiveness of the educational intervention “Renuévate” on the prevention of teenage pregnancy in high school students in a private institution, 2024. Methodology: The research had a quantitative approach, applied type, pre-experimental design; it has a census, non-probabilistic sample, made up of 31 students. The study technique was the survey, and two instruments were used to measure the data: a questionnaire for cognition and a Likert scale for attitudes. Results: Regarding the sociodemographic characteristics of the students, the majority were male (51.6%), the most frequent age was 15 years (54.8%), and they generally practice the Evangelical/Christian religion (64.5%). In the pre-test, 41.9% obtained a regular level of knowledge, 32.3% high, and 25.8% low; while in the post-test, 93.5% presented a high level. Regarding attitudes, in the pre-test, only 29% presented favorable attitudes, while in the post-test this figure increased to 90,3%. Finally, between pre and post-test values was statistically significant for both variables (p < 0.001). Conclusion: The educational intervention “Renuévate” on the prevention of teenage pregnancy in high school students in a private institution, 2024, is effective.
