Conocimiento de enfermedad renal crónica y cuidados preventivos en pacientes hipertensos atendidos en el hospital de EsSalud de la Merced, 2025

Abstract

El objetivo de la presente investigación fue “determinar la relación entre el conocimiento sobre la enfermedad renal crónica y los cuidados preventivos en pacientes hipertensos atendidos en el Hospital de EsSalud de La Merced, 2025”. La investigación fue cuantitativa, aplicado, no experimental, correlacional. Siendo una muestra de 92 pacientes. El resultado indicó que el 58,7% de los participantes tenía un alto nivel de conocimiento sobre la enfermedad renal crónica, el 41,3 % presentó un nivel bajo. Sobre los cuidados preventivos, el 70,7% presentó un nivel regular, el 17,4% cuidados malos y el 12% presentaron cuidados buenos, en la relación el Rho de Spearman fue de 0,248 y p = 0,017. Conclusión: existe relación entre el conocimiento sobre la enfermedad renal crónica y los cuidados preventivos en pacientes hipertensos atendidos en el Hospital de EsSalud de La Merced, 2025.

The objective of this research was to “determine the relationship between knowledge about chronic kidney disease and preventive care in hypertensive patients treated at the EsSalud Hospital in La Merced, 2025”. The research was quantitative, applied, non-experimental, and correlational. The sample consisted of 92 patients. The results indicated that 58.7% of the participants had a high level of knowledge about chronic kidney disease, while 41.3% had a low level. Regarding preventive care, 70.7% presented a fair level, 17.4% poor care, and 12% good care. The Spearman's rho correlation coefficient was 0.248, with p = 0.017. Conclusion: A relationship exists between knowledge about chronic kidney disease and preventive care in hypertensive patients treated at the EsSalud Hospital in La Merced, 2025.
