Factores que influyen en la adherencia al tratamiento antidepresivo en pacientes atendidos en el Centro de Salud Mental Comunitario Nuevo Perú – San Juan de Lurigancho. Lima 2022

Abstract

The research aimed to analyze the factors influencing adherence to antidepressant treatment in patients treated at the Nuevo Perú Community Mental Health Center. Method: Observational, cross-sectional, non-experimental type. The study included 200 patients with depression. The technique used was a questionnaire and the Morisky Green test. Results: 73% had low adherence; 95% live with their families; 52% are unemployed, and 55% have no income; 95% receive all their medications; 35% have been in treatment for 6 to 12 months; 48% take two medications; 48% experienced adverse reactions; 84% are aware of their diagnosis; 81% believe their attitude is good; 41% are between 30 and 49 years old; 72% are women; 54% stop taking their medication because they felt better; 91% consider the treatments effective; 96% trust healthcare professionals, and 89% believe the care is good. Conclusions: Non-adherence to antidepressant treatments is influenced by various interconnected factors, including socioeconomic aspects, treatment characteristics, the patient, the illness, and the medical team. Currently, there is no effective strategy to prevent non-adherence.

La investigación tuvo como objetivo: Analizar los factores que influyen en la adherencia al tratamiento antidepresivos en pacientes atendidos en el Centro de Salud Mental Comunitario Nuevo Perú. Método: tipo observacional, transversal, no experimental. En 200 pacientes con depresión. La técnica fue un cuestionario y el test de Morisky Green. Resultados: EL 73% adherencia baja, 95% viven junto a su familia, 52 % no tiene ocupación laboral y el 55% no tiene ingreso económico, 95% reciben todos sus medicamentos, 35% tiempo de tratamiento entre 6 y 12 meses, 48% toman dos medicamentos, 48% presentaron reacción adversa, 84% si tienen conocimiento de su diagnóstico, 81% opina que su actitud es bueno, 41% tienen una edad entre 30 a 49 años, 72 % son féminas, 54% dejan de tomar sus porque ya se sentían mejor, 91% opinan que los tratamientos son efectivos, 96% tienen confianza con el profesional de salud y el 89% opina la atención es buena. Conclusiones: La no adherencia a los tratamientos antidepresivos está influenciado por diferentes factores que se relacionan entre sí, socioeconómico, el tratamiento, el paciente, la enfermedad y equipo médico. Por ahora no existe una estrategia eficaz para evitarla
