Los mapas mentales y el aprendizaje significativo en estudiantes de la carrera profesional en terapia de lenguaje de una universidad pública y privada de Lima metropolitana-2020

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar el nivel de relación entre los mapas mentales y el aprendizaje significativo en estudiantes de la carrera profesional en terapia de lenguaje de una universidad pública y privada de Lima Metropolitana, 2020. Por lo cual se aplicó la investigación cuantitativa de tipo correlacional, y diseño no experimental. La muestra estuvo conformada por 100 estudiantes de la carrera profesional de Terapia de Lenguaje donde se utilizó como técnica la encuesta y como instrumento un cuestionario, los cuales midieron las variables de estudio. Como resultados se encontró un nivel de significancia de 0.004 en el análisis estadístico de Rho de Spearman aceptando una relación significativa entre ambas variables y una correlación positiva. Así mismo se encontró la relación significativa entre las dimensiones de la variable Mapa Mental (Idea principal, Interconexiones, Idea secundaria y Aprendizaje multicanal) y la variable Aprendizaje Significativo. Finalmente podemos considerar que el uso de Mapas Mentales no es determinante para el logro del aprendizaje significativo, sin embargo, la utilización de este organizador gráfico ayudaría a mejorar el proceso de aprendizaje.

The present research had as objective the level of relationship between mental maps and meaningful learning in students of the professional career in speech therapy of a public and private university of Metropolitan Lima, 2020. Therefore, a quantitative research of correlational type and non-experimental design was applied. The sample consisted of 100 students of the professional career of Speech Therapy where the survey was used as a technique and a questionnaire as an instrument, which measured the variables of study. As results, a significance level of 0.004 was found in the statistical analysis of Spearman's Rho, accepting a significant relationship between both variables and a weak positive correlation. Likewise, a significant relationship was found between the dimensions of the Mind Map variable (Main Idea, Interconnections, Secondary Idea and Multichannel Learning) and the Significant Learning variable. Finally, we can consider that the use of Mind Maps is not determinant for the achievement of Meaningful Learning; however, the use of this graphic organizer would help to improve the learning process.
