dc.description.abstractThis research aimed to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and the consumption of vitamins that support the immune system against the COVID-19 pandemic among residents of the Lince district from 2021 to 2022. The research method was hypothetical-deductive and of a basic type, with a quantitative approach, a non-experimental design, and a cross-sectional scope. The population consisted of adults aged 40 and over, with a sample of 180 adults residing in the Lince district. The results showed that the most frequent age range was 40–49 years, and the most frequent gender was male at 71.7%, compared to 28.3% female. Regarding knowledge level, 31.1% had a low level, 53.3% had a medium level, and 15.6% had a high level. For vitamin consumption, vegetables were consumed at a high level (78.3%), while Vitamin A was the most consumed vitamin by type at 88.3%. Based on the analysis, it was concluded that a strong positive relationship exists between the level of knowledge and the consumption of vitamins that support the immune system against the COVID-19 pandemic in the Lince district from 2021 to 2022.en_US
dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación tuvo como finalidad determinar la relación que existe entre el nivel de conocimiento y el consumo de vitaminas que favorecen al sistema inmunológico frente a la pandemia por Covid-19 en pobladores del distrito de Lince, 2021- 2022. El método de la investigación fue hipotético deductivo y tipo básica. Con un enfoque cuantitativo, de diseño no experimental y de corte transversal. La población estuvo conformada por adultos mayores de 40 años en adelante, con una muestra de 180 adultos residentes en el distrito de Lince. Como resultados se evidenciaron que los rangos de edades más frecuentes fueron de 40 -49 años, el sexo más frecuente fue el masculino en un 71.7 % y en un 28.3% femenino. En cuanto al nivel de conocimiento se evidencia que un 31,1% tienen un nivel bajo de conocimiento, seguido de un 53,3% con un nivel medio y finalmente un 15,6 % que representa un nivel alto de la variable conocimiento y en cuanto a la variable consumo de vitaminas se determinó que el consumo por grupo de alimentos, las verduras tienen un alto nivel de consumo con un 78.3% mientras que por consumo por tipo de vitaminas se determinó que el consumo de Vitamina A es mayor con un 88.3%. Según el análisis de los resultados se concluye que si existe una relación positiva fuerte entre la variable nivel de conocimiento y consumo de vitaminas que favorecen al sistema inmunológico frente a la pandemia por Covid -19, distrito de Lince 2021-2022.es_ES
