| dc.description.abstract | During the Covid-19 pandemic, the work of the Pharmaceutical Chemist focused on developing preventive, promotional, and assistance actions for the general population, especially for confirmed or suspected Covid-19 patients. Objective: To identify the relationship between pharmaceutical intervention and the Covid-19 pandemic scenario in patients attended at Botica Chilca, Chilca district, Cañete, Lima, Peru, 2022. Methods: The research method was hypothetical-deductive, quantitative, basic, with a non-experimental, observational, prospective, and correlational design. The sample consisted of 110 patients. Results: Among the 110 patients, 53.6% were women, 49.1% married, and 43.6% aged between 20-40 years. Additionally, 53.6% had received the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, and 34.5% the third dose. Regarding medication consumption, 64.5% used prescribed medication, 34.5% used medicinal plants; 41.8% underwent diagnostic testing, and 40.9% were confirmed to have Covid-19. Common symptoms included sore throat (71.8%), headache (61.8%), general discomfort and pain (59.1%), fatigue (69.1%), fever (52.7%), and dry cough (61.8%). Moreover, 85.5% had oxygen saturation below 94; 27.3% were hypertensive, and 14.5% asthmatic. Medication use included paracetamol (53.6%), dexamethasone (33.6%), and cephalosporins (24.5%), while 45.5% did not use antibiotics. Furthermore, 79.1% reported no adverse effects, 64.5% adhered to therapy, 70% received pharmaceutical counseling on the disease and medication, and 76.4% experienced symptom improvement. Conclusion: A significant relationship was identified between pharmaceutical intervention and the Covid-19 pandemic scenario in patients attended at Botica Chilca. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Durante la pandemia por el Covid-19 la labor del Químico Farmacéutico se centró en desarrollar acciones preventivas, promocionales y asistenciales a la población en general en especial a pacientes confirmados o sospechosos para covid-19. Objetivo. Identificar la relación entre la intervención farmacéutica con escenario de la pandemia Covid-19 en pacientes atendidos en Botica Chilca, distrito Chilca, Cañete Lima Perú 2022. Métodos. El método de investigación fue hipotético deductivo, cuantitativo, básico, diseño no experimental, observacional, prospectivo y correlacional, la muestra lo conformaron 110 pacientes. Resultados. De 110 pacientes, 53.6% fueron mujeres, 49.1% casados, 43.6% con edad entre 20-40 años; 53.6% se administraron la segunda dosis de vacuna frente a la covid-19 y 34.5% la tercera dosis; 64.5% del consumo de medicamentos fue con receta médica, 34.5% usó plantas medicinales; 41.8% se realizaron la prueba diagnóstica, 40.9% fueron confirmados para la enfermedad Covid-19; 71.8% presentó dolor de garganta, 61.8% dolor de cabeza, 59.1% malestar y dolor general, 69.1% cansancio, 52.7% fiebre, 61.8% tos seca; 85.5% saturación de oxígeno menor a 94; 27.3% eran hipertensos, 14.5% asmáticos; 53.6% consumió paracetamol, 33.6% dexametasona, 24.5% cefalosporinas, 45.5% no usó antibióticos; 79.1% no presentó efecto adverso, 64.5% cumplió con la terapia, 70% recibió consejería farmacéutica sobre la enfermedad y la medicación, 76.4% logró mejoría de síntomas. Conclusión. Se identificó que hubo relación significativa entre la intervención farmacéutica con escenario de la pandemia covid-19 en pacientes atendidos en Botica Chilca | es_ES |
