Factores de riesgo relacionados al desarrollo de diabetes gestacional en gestantes atendidas en el Hospital San Juan de Lurigancho entre los años 2023 al 2024

Abstract

Objetivo: Reconocer los factores de riesgo relacionados al desarrollo de diabetes gestacional en gestantes atendidas en el hospital San Juan de Lurigancho entre los años 2023 al 2024. Metodología: Fue un estudio analítico, retrospectivo, de casos - controles. Constituido por 100 gestantes atendidas en el hospital San Juan de Lurigancho desde enero del 2023 hasta diciembre del 2024 (50 casos y 50 controles). Se empleó chi cuadrado para las variables categóricas y Odds Ratio con IC 95% para saber la asociación de las variables con la diabetes gestacional utilizando el SPSS Statistics v30. Resultados: Se halló que los factores sociodemográficos con riesgo al desarrollo de diabetes gestacional fueron (edad materna ≥ 35 años(p=0.000 y OR:6.16), gestante analfabeta (p=0.014 y OR:6.00), con antecedente de diabetes gestacional previo (p= 0.012 y OR:2.13), con dislipidemia (p=0.012 y OR:2.13) , con intolerancia a la glucosa (p=0.000 y OR:2.28) y con obesidad tipo 3 (p=0.012 y OR:2.13) ),además como factores protectores al nivel superior (p=0.046 y OR:0.21), el no tener ninguna patología (p=0.046 y OR:0.06) y el sobrepeso (p=0.000 y OR:0.22) y el único factor obstétrico de riesgo fue la edad gestacional ≤37 semanas (p=0.000 y OR:9.00). Conclusiones: Los factores sociodemográficos con riesgo a diabetes gestacional son edad materna ≥ 35 años, gestante analfabeta, tener antecedente de diabetes gestacional previo, antecedente de dislipidemia, antecedente de intolerancia a la glucosa y obesidad tipo 3 y dentro de los factores obstétricos con riesgo solo fue la edad gestacional ≤ 37 semanas.

Results: Sociodemographic factors with risk for developing gestational diabetes were found to be (maternal age ≥ 35 years (p = 0.000 and OR: 6.16), illiterate pregnant woman (p = 0.014 and OR: 6.00), with a history of previous gestational diabetes (p = 0.012 and OR: 2.13), with dyslipidemia (p = 0.012 and OR: 2.13), with glucose intolerance (p = 0.000 and OR: 2.28) and with type 3 obesity (p = 0.012 and OR: 2.13) ), in addition to protective factors at the higher level (p = 0.046 and OR: 0.21), not having any pathology (p = 0.046 and OR: 0.06) and overweight (p = 0.000 and OR: 0.22) and the only obstetric risk factor was age. gestational age ≤37 weeks (p=0.000 and OR:9.00). Conclusions: The sociodemographic factors with risk for gestational diabetes are maternal age ≥35 years, illiterate pregnant woman, having a history of previous gestational diabetes, history of dyslipidemia, history of glucose intolerance and type 3 obesity and within the obstetric factors with risk was only gestational age ≤37 weeks.
