Motivación y estrategias metacognitivas de aprendizaje en estudiantes de Maestría en Docencia Universitaria en una Universidad Privada de Lima Metropolitana, 2021

Abstract

La educación universitaria del país requiere docentes actualizados, altamente motivados y conocedores de estrategias metacognitivas que impulsen la mejora de la calidad de la enseñanza universitaria orientada a la investigación, la Ley N° 30220 – Ley Universitaria, establece que los docentes tengan el grado de maestría para ejercer esta actividad. Actualmente, existen docentes que requieren cumplir esta exigencia, por lo cual despliegan esfuerzos, interés, conductas, tiempo, recursos y emplean diferentes procedimientos y técnicas de aprendizaje para lograr este objetivo. La investigación se orienta a conocer la relación existente entre motivación y estrategias metacognitivas de aprendizaje que impulsan a los estudiantes de maestría en Docencia Universitaria a realizar tal emprendimiento. La metodología de investigación fue el método hipotético deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, tipo básica, diseño no experimental a nivel correlacional. La población fue 278 estudiantes, la muestra fue seleccionada probabilísticamente, con resultado final de 81 estudiantes. La técnica aplicada fue la Encuesta para plantear preguntas y medir las variables de las hipótesis del estudio; los instrumentos para recolectar los datos fueron Cuestionarios con opciones múltiples para las variables del estudio. Se realizó el tratamiento estadístico de la información para verificar la relación existente entre la variable motivación a través de sus dimensiones intrínsecas, extrínsecas y trascendental con la variable estrategias metacognitivas de aprendizaje. Los resultados permiten tener información básica para desarrollar otros estudios que amplíen el conocimiento del comportamiento de estas variables y su influencia en el logro y satisfacciones de las metas trazadas por los estudiantes.

The country's university education requires updated teachers, highly motivated and knowledgeable of metacognitive strategies that promote the improvement of the quality of research-oriented university teaching, the Law No. 30220 – University Law, establishes that teachers have the master's degree to exercise this activity. Currently, there are teachers who need to meet this requirement, for which they deploy efforts, interest, behaviors, time, resources and use different procedures and learning techniques to achieve this goal. The research is aimed at knowing the relationship between motivation and metacognitive learning strategies that drive students of master's degree in University Teaching to carry out such an undertaking. The research methodology was the hypothetical deductive method, quantitative approach, basic type, non-experimental design at the correlational level. The population was 278 students, the sample was selected probabilistically, with the finally result of 81 students. The technique applied was the Survey to pose questions and measure the variables of the study hypotheses; the instruments to collect the data were Questionnaires with multiple options for the variables of the study. The statistical treatment of the information was carried out to check the relationship between the variable motivation through its intrinsic, extrinsic and transcendental dimensions with the variable metacognitive learning strategies. The results allow to have basic information to develop other studies that expand the knowledge of the behavior of these variables and their influence on the achievement and satisfaction of the goals set by the students.
