| es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | In recent years, complications in hypertensive patients have increased significantly, making it important to understand treatment adherence and its associated factors. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between factors associated with adherence to pharmacological treatment in hypertensive people at Health Center I-4 La Unión, Piura 2026. The study was basic, quantitative, and non-experimental in design. The sampling was probabilistic, with a sample of 385 hypertensive patients, who responded to a questionnaire to determine treatment adherence and a questionnaire to analyze factors associated with it. The reliability of the questionnaires was evaluated, obtaining a Cronbach's alpha of 0.916, indicating excellent reliability; furthermore, these instruments were validated by three experts. The results showed that 67.3% of hypertensive patients at Health Center I-4 La Unión were non-adherent to pharmacological treatment. For hypothesis testing, Pearson's Chi-square test of independence was performed with a significance level of 5%, reaching a p-value of 0.001. Therefore, The null hypothesis H0 was rejected and it was deduced that there is a significantly positive relationship between pharmacological adherence in hypertensive users of C. S. I-4 La Unión and the factors associated with it. These findings highlight the importance of socioeconomic factors, the health service provider, the therapy, and patient awareness for adequate treatment adherence. | en_US |
