Estrés académico y ansiedad en estudiantes de cuarto y quinto de secundaria de una institución educativa pública de Puente Piedra – 2025

Abstract

El propósito principal de la investigación fue verificar la relación existente estrés académico y ansiedad en estudiantes de cuarto y quinto de secundaria de una Institución Educativa Pública de Puente Piedra – 2025. La metodología empleada fue hipotéticodeductivo, con un enfoque cuantitativo. El estudio fue de tipo básica, con un diseño no experimental, de nivel correlacional y corte transversal. La muestra se conformó por 219 estudiantes, hombres y mujeres, entre 4° y 5°año de secundaria. En la recolección de datos se utilizaron dos instrumentos: el Inventario Sistémico Cognoscitivo para el estudio de Estrés Académico SISCO SV-21 y la Escala de Ansiedad de autoevaluación (SAS) de Zung. El análisis de los datos se realizó mediante el paquete estadístico para ciencias sociales SPSS v. 27 y Excel. Los hallazgos evidenciaron existe relación entre la ansiedad y el estrés académico, el valor de la prueba (rho = 404**) nos indica un grado de relación positiva moderada, lo cual confirma la hipótesis general del estudio y permite concluir que existe una relación directa entre ambas variables en la población evaluada.

The main purpose of this research was to verify the relationship between academic stress and anxiety in fourth- and fifth-year high school students at a public educational institution in Puente Piedra, Peru, in 2025. The method employed was hypothetical-deductive, with a quantitative approach. The research was basic in nature, with a non-experimental, correlational, and cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 219 male and female students in their fourth and fifth years of high school. Two instruments were used for data collection: the Systemic Cognitive Inventory for the Study of Academic Stress (SISCO SV-21) and the Zung Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS). Data analysis was performed using SPSS version 27 and Microsoft Excel. The findings demonstrated a relationship between anxiety and academic stress. The test value (rho = 404**) indicates a moderate positive correlation, confirming the study's general hypothesis and allowing us to conclude that a direct relationship exists between both variables in the evaluated population.
