Depresión y la ideación suicida de adolescentes de 12 a 17 años que se atienden en el Centro de Salud Mental Comunitario Pichari en Cuzco 2026

Abstract

El objetivo general será “Determinar si existe una relación significativa entre depresión e ideación suicida en los adolescentes de 12 a 17 años que se atienden en el centro de salud mental comunitario Pichari en Cusco 2026”. Para ello, se aplicará la metodología hipotética deductiva, un enfoque cuantitativo, investigación aplicada, y de corte trasversal, porque se compilará los datos en un determinado tiempo. La muestra será finita (450) y el muestreo será probabilística y muestreo aleatorio simple (207). La técnica será la encuesta y los instrumentos serán Depresión de Beck (BDI-II), desarrollado por el psicólogo Beck que evaluará afectiva o emocional, cognición, físico, conducta, y para la variable ideación suicida, a través de la escala ideación suicida de Paykel (PSS), evalúa la frecuencia, intensidad y gravedad de los pensamientos suicidas. Finalmente, será los instrumentos pasaron por una etapa de validación y con fiabilidad a través del Alfa de Cronbach V1 (0,948), y V2 (0,779) estos coeficientes indican una alta fiabilidad en la medición.

The overall objective will be to “Determine whether there is a significant relationship between depression and suicidal ideation in adolescents aged 12 to 17 who are treated at the Pichari community mental health center in 2026.” To this end, the hypothetical-deductive methodology will be applied, a quantitative, applied research, cross-sectional approach, because the data will be compiled over a specific period of time. The sample will be finite (450) and the sampling will be probabilistic and simple random sampling (207). The technique will be a survey, and the instruments will be Beck's Depression Inventory (BDI-II), developed by psychologist Beck, which will assess affective or emotional, cognitive, physical, and behavioral aspects, and for the variable of suicidal ideation, Paykel's Suicidal Ideation Scale (PSS), which assesses the frequency, intensity, and severity of suicidal thoughts. Finally, the instruments underwent a validation and reliability stage using Cronbach's Alpha V1 (0.948) and V2 (0.779).
