Calidad del cuidado enfermero y satisfacción del paciente postoperado en la unidad de recuperación posanestésica de un hospital nacional de Lima, 2026

Abstract

Introducción: El profesional de enfermería en clínico quirúrgico debe poseer competencias cognitivas, procedimentales y actitudinales para brindar un cuidado integral en el postoperatorio, su intervención es clave para estabilizar las funciones vitales y prevenir complicaciones de los pacientes, asegurando su confort y satisfacción. De esta forma, este estudio tiene el Objetivo: Determinar cómo se relaciona la calidad del cuidado enfermero con la satisfacción del paciente postoperado en recuperación posanestésica. Metodología: El enfoque será cuantitativo, el tipo de investigación será aplicada, método hipotético-deductivo, diseño no experimental, transversal, correlacional. Población: 80 pacientes postoperados. Técnica será la encuesta y se utilizará cuestionarios. Asimismo, la confiabilidad con el coeficiente Alpha de Cronbach de α = 0,960 y Alpha de Cronbach α = 0,918, para cada cuestionario de las variables respectivamente. Se emplearán dos tipos de análisis estadísticos; el descriptivo e inferencial, utilizando SPSS versión 28, además, la prueba de correlación de Spearman, adecuada para variables ordinales, con el objetivo de examinar la relación de las mismas y se elaborarán tablas específicas en función de los objetivos del estudio.

Introduction: The nursing professional in the surgical center must possess cognitive, procedural, and attitudinal competencies to provide comprehensive postoperative care. Their intervention is key to stabilizing vital functions and preventing patient complications, ensuring comfort and satisfaction. In this way, this study has the Objective: To determine how the quality of nursing care is related to patient satisfaction in postoperative recovery at the surgical center of a hospital in Lima. Methodology: The approach will be quantitative; the type of research will be applied, with a hypothetical-deductive method, and a non-experimental, cross-sectional, correlational design. Population: 80 postoperative patients in recovery at the surgical center of a hospital in Lima, Peru. The survey technique and a questionnaire instrument will be used. The instruments were applied and validated in the national context by Flores et al., in 2023. Regarding the content validity of the questionnaire for nursing care quality, it was confirmed with Aiken’s V statistical test of 0.949, and the postoperative patient satisfaction questionnaire with Aiken’s V of 0.987. Likewise, reliability was confirmed with Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient of α = 0.960 and α = 0.918 for each questionnaire corresponding to the variables, respectively. Two types of statistical analyses will be employed: descriptive and inferential, using SPSS version 28. In addition, Spearman’s correlation test—suitable for ordinal variables—will be applied with the purpose of examining their relationship, and specific tables will be elaborated according to the study objectives.
